I mean technically ** cant, but I would be ***** if I were to say it is all like *******.
In 2025, when we've had the ******** at our fingertips for so long, without loading and without *****, anything that.. as my wife would say, 'stifles our creativity' will throw off the artsy fartsy folk.
Anyone that created a couple threads and lives for the dopamine hit of replies will go elsewhere. I'm not an ******, but I know when people need to express themselves in a familiar place. "It takes all kinds", no? They'll leave and take a bit of their energy with them.
Or, perhaps as the capitalists would agree.. be the easiest and best alternative and they wont go elsewhere.
Jobs did that with iTunes. The average fool will learn how to pirate an album if CD prices are too steep.
Granted, we're free. But if someone sees an obstacle (THREEFOLD!) to their life..
1: making their wank more difficult
2: They cant speak freely
3: In these paranoid times, censorship is always seen as a bad thing.
I can understand why they'd leave. I, personally, cant help but see the 'Tumblr' thing starting. A porn site cherrypicking their ethics?
I'm saddened to see people go. But I understand why.
