Now we have legit concerns like.. will any of the thousands of posts in the famous ppl section even work, now? What purpose do some of the rando threads serve if we cant talk about booz-o-hol, durgs and nonsense? Nabokov inspired decades of ladies to call themselves Lol!ta and the weebs took it.. but does a 50 year old 'lita still evoke the same baser instincts or can we accept that mo.. err.. mothe.. um.. 'that creator of life' still wants to be called by that and who are we to judge her? (Well easily, but I dig rest)

Guys, we can always go the Musk ay, and one of us comes forward and buys out the current financier contract to unlock complete unbanning of all words and terms.

What about threads we started going back 10-15 years? Can we somehow fix those?
Depends what you mean by "fix" but what people need to realize is that if we're given the green light to do so, everything will go back to how it was like a magic wand has been waved when the time comes.
That means folks can't think too creatively just yet because if people start applying their own censoring to words or going out of their way to bypass these filters then it will be written like that forevermore unnecessarily even after things go back to normal... unless you ask us to edit it at a later date so you'd just be making work for us to correct it manually in the future.
For this same reason, if we were to edit old stuff to make it look more respectable as of this very moment in time - we'd then have the job of reversing all the manual edits we've made further down the track.
