Madden NFL 12

The Madden games need to die a horrible death.

i have owned 1 madden game in my life it was like madden 07 or 08
i am a 2K fan. thought the players looked more realistic not the round rugrats like maddens players look like.
so i wont be getting this game either. i just hope that the exclusive NFL license that EA has with the NFL ends soon so other companies can make games that usually outclasss the madden game. :******:

^ I just want a new NFL Blitz.... If Madden is as good as NCAA 12 I might pick it up... I really like Road to Glory in NCAA, does anyone know if Madden has a mode like this?.. Like a revamped superstar mode?

OH BOY...EA extended the cotract of exclusivity with the NFL to 2013.
FUCK YOU EA SPORTS!

the superstar mode was the reason i got THAT madden in 07or08. i created myself as a WR and went into the draft AND got drafted by the chicago bears! my favorite team! i won rookie of the year & offensive player of the year and MVP. i think i started my 2nd superstar season and played a few games before stopping to play NHL08? 09? and never went back to madden!

I agree with you that I'd really like for the exclusivity deal to end, because the lack of competition effectively ****** BOTH franchises. 2K is gone completely, and the quality of Madden has suffered considerably without any competition to motivate them. Unfortunately I'm not sure if the exlusive deal will end anytime soon, as EA knows its in their best interests to be the only game in town, and the NFL couldn't care less as long as their getting that money.

i fully understand the thought process of EA to be the ONLY dog in town. but like you said it prevents both game makers from having to create something new& different instead of just redoing the same game yr after yr. which is what madden basically does with very few little additions to make the game a better experience.
what i dont understand is that the exclusivity of the NFL to madden/EA was overruled in court as anti-trust but somehow never held up.

In December 2010, A U.S. district court judge certified a class action anti-trust lawsuit against Electronic Arts for anti-competitive practices to proceed[1]. Pending the outcome of the suit, 2K Sports could be granted NFL rights again which would permit the series to continue.

But in February of 2011, EA dealt yet another blow to 2K Sports' hopes of making NFL licensed games. They extended the exclusive contract until the year 2013. This latest deal came to fruition only a few weeks before the NFL began locking out players.

I love Madden. I learned so much about the game for just playing this game.

You could say that about any sports game.

I remember me and my ****** playing the hell out of a rugby game for Genesis back in the day.I had no idea how to play until we played a couple of matches.Same thing for Hockey.I knew the basic rules, but until I started playing NHL 98,I didn't really know how in depth it was.
