It's close enough now to break the news I think.

Nuts.tv is about to launch and one of the opening presenters will be Miss Pinder herself. Also it is rumoured that this won't be a one off thing. As there is talk of it been a regular thing. No one knows how regular and what Lucy will be presenting. But I have been told that she will most certainly appear on it more than once or twice.

It's not fully launched yet. There will be a official launch so it has been said. I could name you all the ladies who've done a little presenting clip for it. Like Lucy's full clip is around 10 minutes long putting them together. I have it

The plan is to have about a thirty minute to a hour program up a week and then extra snippets like there is on it already. But I don't know if this is still the current plan. As I've not gone into it that much. This is because I heard the type of thing they will mostly have up and it's nothing really different. As always with the magazine sites. Great mag, bad site. I was only keeping a ear out for the Lucy bits and I have the first already.

In my humble opinion its mags like NUTS and ZOO that have the biggest backward effect on the porn industry in the UK.
these are the reason that 90% of all UK top shelf mags are full of girls from Eastern Europe, cause all the good home grown talent `want to be in Nuts or Zoo or some other waste of time `Lads mag` where they can get away with, well basically nowt.

They came from the Daily Star and I did them and supplied them to a blog that has them on. That is another problem I can't post the link to that as I'd be advertising. As Monkey will tell you I have a program that I can not only pull up the paper. But also convert it to a good quality picture.

What the hell has Nuts got to do with porn

First they wasn't the first magazines of this type as even there parent magazine that are monthly was around long before them. Also the type of models that appear in them have been around since the 70's. Because that is when the glamour model was born. These are the models that appear in such publications and on page3. The only thing that has now changed over the years in the glamour world is simple. Instead of doing nude shoots for such as Mayfair and Men Only and such. They have become more celebs and do promotions, PA and other work of this type to earn money. It was the 80's models such as Sam Fox who made the shift as she started to branch out into TV and such from page3. Jo Guest was really the one who showed just what you can do even as just a glamour model. She even gave talks at university's on the subject. She even took off after doing hard modelling first.

But having said that, if you was a magazine owner. Would you have Lucy in it or someone from porn? My answer would be Lucy as not only would she more than double your sales. Proven fact as OK even sold 130% more than usual when Lucy was in it. Than just some model who's only known for taking all her clothes off and having no personality. In other words unknown.

Well I've done a little digging on the members behalf today.

From what I've found out, what you see is what your going to get. As they didn't realise the cost of it all. That they will be running it on a very small budget unless they get some serious investment on it. The models clips and programs will be limited at the moment due to the costs to do them.

Personally I really can't see why they bothered. After all, great magazine, passable website, but now very bad TV station. The worse thing is I'm hoping they realise the mistake before we lose the great magazine.

I think you're right to a certain extent in that there are a lot of homegrown girls who aspire to be in "Lads' mags" and wouldn't be seen dead in, say, "Men Only" but I'm not sure that they would have done top shelf even when there were no Loadeds or the like.

The thing with porn in the UK is that there is just so much of it now. Not that long ago, there might have been ten or so mags and some very soft core or censored videos - now, with all the US mags, there might be a choice of thirty with still ten or so from the UK and of course both UK produced and foreign DVDs.

And then there's the internet of course - I think some of the best places to find British girls in compromising positions are http://www.simonscans.com and http://www.suburbanamateurs.com - never mind http://www.killergram.com

The one positive thing to say re the Lads mags is that I'm sure we see a lot more really nice girls at least topless than we did before the mags existed. And they give us lots more of the likes of Lucy Pinder than we would get otherwise.

PS - I also think that UK top shelf mags use a lot of Eastern European girls because, 1, the girls are stunning and, better than that for them, the photos will be much cheaper than hiring a UK photographer to take pics of a girl in a UK studio.
