Lost

Here's my theory about Michael getting off the island. Back when he got the boat Ben told him to go towards certain coordinates, don't remember what they were exactly, and he will find rescue. So I am thinking that there is another underwater hatch, island that more Others live at, boat, or anything that Michael found and they dropped him off back home. There has to be another way off the island besides the sub that was blown up. If you remember Miles asked Ben for that money and then Locke said there was no bank on the island, Miles responded that he will find a way to get the money. So there still has to be some kind of contact and way to get off the island.

I basically agree with calpoon. I expected a lot more than they delivered. I am bummed that we have to wait awhile for it to continue because I really think they have returned LOST to its gold standard. The show seems energetic and fresh again....

There definitely is a magical aura around Locke and Walt..the island has given both of them "powers." It's too bad they just didn't "recast" the Walt character. If the original actor "aged out" too fast..so what. Just recast the role to keep the character going.

It was cool to see Libby again...that was freaky when she popped up...

I thought last night's ep would be better than it was. I was sad that Rousseau "bought it" so cheaply. I mean. C'mon. She's a Season 1 character, she deserved a better death scene than that one. Lame.

I about ******* my snack up when Michael pressed the red button on the bomb...and it was the equivalent of the joke *** that springs the BANG! flag..that stupid little "NOT YET" note was....:mad::mad: DUMB

I was wondering how Beardy McFriendly (Tom) left the island, went to Manhattan and then got back to the island in time to take part in the Season 3 finale (the beach ******). Does all his travel actually synch up with the timeframe of the show? I was puzzled how he could leave the island when the sub is blown up, right? Is there a Dharma airplane stashed somewhere?

Tom got shot in the Season 3 finale, right?

yeah the timeline makes sense for tom.
it explains in the trivia/general section of this great lost website:http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Meet_Kevin_Johnson

Rousseu bought it, that does suck. That was all Bens doing, he set it up in order to do away with Rousseu and Karl. It was the Others who ****** them, not the people from the freighter. I guess now he is all Alex has.
What a prick, Locke really should shoot him.
And as for Locke, I am disappointed in whats happening to him in season 4. He seems to be just as Ben said, more lost than ever.
I think however that this episode has a strong impact on the flash forwards that we've sen so far.
Because of Sayids actions. That was key to future events.
Him ratting out Micheal to the captain. Now that sets up the island being "comprimised" and whatever happened can now happen.
I guess Sayid did it because he hates Ben so much but it may well have been a huge error.

About the timeline, have we all forgot about the magic box?
As I can remember Ben had something like that so that he could get something or someone to the island, maybe the Temple is a place they can do something like that.. get people to the 'real' world and back in a timeframe..

Or did I miss something with the box :p

Rory, everyone need a little box.

the box was a metaphor.

great locke line: "I hope your box is big enough to fit a new submarine."

just thought i'd give it a bump.

man, I am pissed about this wait. there isn't shite on TV now.

I'm not sure. maybe the april 23? for some reason that sticks in my head.

this is by far the most complete site, with air dates.
who do you think is responsible for the shooting and or ******* of Karl and /Roussue?
Ben or the freighter people?
I think Ben, he sent them on their death trip.
I wish Locke or Sawyer should just shoot him in the face and be done with it.
Also, can the flash forwards we've seen be changed? Or are they definite?

^^^
Great questions.
Ben definitely sent them to their death. He's a mass ********* psycho...I'm sure he knew, from Michael, which direction the Freighter Fighters were coming...

The second question is a real good one too..I think. Could the Flash Forwards somehow "change" due to the events on the island as we experience them....LOST plays around with "time"..so why not? It's possible that some things could change by the time we get to the series finale...

I really like the flash forwards...although, during the recent Sun/Jin episode..I wasn't convinced that Jin died...I thought he left Sun and orchestrated his death somehow...maybe Sun's *** might've helped him do that...but what would cause Jin to want to leave Sun...if her banging some other dude wasn't enough?:dunno: So, I guess the events we were presented...happened as they did..Jin died while escaping the island...

Overall...I really think this season has been amazing...I'm back to believing in LOST again...

I think that was The worst episode. It was the only time a flash forward or backward had nothing to do with the actual episode itself. It was just to fuck with us. And the thing is, there's already enough things fuck with us. You know what I mean? There's like soooo many unanswered that keep my mind going, I really didn't need this side story that really had nothing to do with anything.
It really pissed me off.

yeah, that episode sucked. am for sure it's gotta be the others that shot rossou. I hope that wasn't the last we've seen of her, that was pretty lame for a death sequence. it kinda seems like they are just trying to stir up controversy, which, like I said, is kind of a cheap shot in an otherwise gem of a season.

I guess the buzz is that Claire might be kicking the bucket soon. I don't really buy it, though.

ok, so i've been discussing this with some people, and I think I might be inclined to change my position about the last shooting we saw. well, ok, I'm still gonna sit on the fence, cuz I can't decide for sure.

it's been pointed out to me that it doesn't really make any sense for it to be the Others, because they knew who karl and rossou is and they obviously know that alex is ben's ********. that's true. that would mean that they either shot them by accident or on purpose. if it was an accident it doesn't make much sense that they would be planning on shooting anyone who randomly came by and that Ben would send them and not know that would happen. If it was on purpose than it means that Ben planned on having the Others shoot them, but if that was the case, then Alex would know that and she would really **** Ben and probably never talk to him again.

For those reasons it seems apparent that Alex at least thinks that it is the freighter people. It's been theorized that the other two were then shot at random and they didn't shoot Alex, because after finding out who she was, they want to capture her and use her against Ben. That theory seems to hold the most water, but it still seems a little funny that some people from the freighter would be on the island (since we didn't see them leave when we were last at that location) and that they should just by pure coincidence run into island people and ****** them and not act like they have been before (at least acting impartial to them) and be right by where Ben said that the Others were supposed to be.

oh yeah, and someone said that they heard it from the producers that the flashbacks are the "real" future, and not just a possible scenario. If you can believe it.

On a side note, I thought Alex looked really fucking hot in that episode.

I gotta tell ya, I was standing in line at a bank about 2 weeks ago when I saw a girl who looked just like Alex. Almost Her twin.I couldnt stop checking her out but Its hard to meet a girl in a bank becuase everyones so quiet.
Then I saw her again about 15 minutes later in the supermarket. Destiny.
Met her, got her # and we've hung out a a few times since.Drank a few beers together last night.
I"m still working on it though, she ain't that easy.

Anyhoo Jins tombstone read Sept, 22 2004, as if he died in the crash.
That tells me he may still be alive.

I think the "Surviving 6" Losties are going to tell "the press" and "the world" that everyone died in the crash and they were, somehow, the only ones to make it "unharmed" even..I think all the **** that's happened on the island..stays on the island. So the date on Jin's tombstone makes sense...if, for nothing else, to shut people up.

I think there "could" be a scenario where Jin conspired with Mr. Kwan (Sun's ***) to fake his death. Mr. Kwan hates Jin and has always thought he wasn't worthy of his ********...maybe Jin tricks Sun into thinking he died on the island, she tells "the authorities" he died in the crash, but Jin pops up inside Mr. Kwan's office looking to ********* him somehow..I guess this scenario is a bit far out even for Lost...but, you never know.

That's kind of the problem, in general, with Lost...I kind of agree with Christmas...we've been fucked over so much, we've been led down MANY PATHS with different stories...I almost don't accept anything anymore as FINAL.

One thing that did bug me a little...I think Michael would need more convincing to go on the freighter. Mr. Friendly just showing up with a classified file and talking about "guilt" ain't enough. Michael sold everyone down the river before...all he cares about is Walt..Maybe Mr. Friendly should've ********* Walt again! Seriously...I think Michael realizes his life is fucked and I don't think he'd really care about helping anyone anymore...I thought he was a bit too "eager" to take Mr. Friendly's story at facevalue. I also thought that bomb scene with the "gotcha note" was awful...

I think the Freighter ***** was taken to the island by the Copter Pilot...that seemed to be what was hinted at at the end. The Others didn't **** Rousseau...it was those "Seal" types who were shooting the clay pidgeons on the deck.

I think Rousseau was a fascinating character who got a cheap death...I really wish we saw a flashback episode.."Rousseau's Story" about how she survived on the island and what happened to her Team..etc.:weeping:

Yeah, I forget the copter had left the feighter. Thats more evidence that the otheres didn't **** Carl and Danielle.
Remember at Kates trial Jack said 8 survived but 2 died on the Island. So thats their story I guess. But then how was the wreckage of Flight 815 explained to the world who saw the video of it under water.?

The Oceanic 6. Jack, Kate, Sun, Sayid, Hurley and who?
I don't think baby Arron counts. 6 survivors. Who's number 6?
