I'm joining the Air Force, but everyone wants in for the Air Force. No one wants to really join the marines or army when there is a war. They are hard up for troops currently, but the Air Force is full.
I have to try to stay out of debt or else I can't join the Air Force. I think I can get it waivered, but seriously don't want to do that since that's 2-3 more months and I may not be able to go.
I am in DEP which means I'm sworn in, but since the Air Force is so full they don't give ship dates at meps. Only branch that currently doesn't.
Also the Air Force is better for me since I want to make 6 figure minimum after the military or while in the military. I will be on the tech side, so I'll have good opportunities for expercience and school. I also applied for some more jobs including fitness + health related jobs since I want to be a personal trainer.
I'll be fine if I plan well.
Worst case scenerio is that I wait a year and a half to go to boot camp.
