I'm pretty sure that the afterlife for those who have sex 50 times a week and bang other people's girlfriends of wives will be great.

Why is it without hope to beleive you live and then you die like every other animal.I am really tempted to put up the question is the afterlife or soul thing exclusively human?I would imagine it is according to most. Then what we are really into is religious dogma. Then you have to deny evolution as we could never have just been some animal without a soul and divine spark.I agree this is all a form of arogance to think we are that special.

I have often thought the same thing.

Yea, it better be all in reverse :glugglug:

We've been living the hell already . . . time for the good life !!:nanner::bowdown:

Oh ! Here's my ACME - How to induce an NDE booklet.

Here's something I don't understand: How can we all go to the same place after we die. Ok, you have 4 people"

1)A rich celeb that wants for nothing, can buy anything, get anything that he wants, an an overall easy life
2)Me who is poor, works my ass off everyday for shit pay, but has enough to meet basic needs, as well as some wants. I may not have everything I want, but I have a hell of an easier life than some people (I can walk, talk, and do what I want when I want) and I have no right to complain
3) A guy with cerebral palsy and mental retardation, stuck in a wheelchair all his life, needing people to wipe his ass and feed him at the age of 35. However, the state pays for all of his needs, so he has his food, shelter, clothing, meds, etc paid for, so he wants for nothing.
4)A kid with AIDS and Cancer that dies at the age of 11.

I had it worse than the celeb, the disability guy had it worse than me, and the sick kid had it worse than all of us.How in the right mind do the 3 of us live so different lives, yet all 4 go to heaven? I could understand if we live our repsective lives and the celeb goes to hell, I go to limbo, and the guy with the disabilities went to heaven, but if we all go to heaven, then what the fuck was the point of living the way we did, much of which was beyond our control? I'm religious and respect God, so I really have no right to even ask this (as it questions God's plan in a way), but I'm very curious about this.

Sometimes I think there is sometimes I don't think there is. It really depends on my outlook on life at the time. If i'm feeling angry depressed or down etc, and pessimistic I might say there is none. But if I'm in a good mood I might say yes I believe there is life after death.
You also have to look at the concepts of life after death, not all people see it as something of a life in heaven or hell. I think a very interesting concept is re-incarnation like in Buddhism it's something that would be quite cool if it was definitely real.

It's very possible that after we die, our spirit will transcend into another dimension.

When I was a kid, I had two near death experiences [sick] and many out of body experiences during normal sleep.

I'll take the scientists route on this question, nothing is ever certain, you can never say something is absolutly certain. And yes there may be a possibility that there is a "life" after death, but in my opinion there is not a life after death.

You die and your either buried or cremated or shot out of a cannon :dunno: and thats it and I say that with a 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% certainty.

Nothing is ever certain? That's a broad statement and it's wrong.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
Is there life after death?

Of course there is. If I die, that doesn't mean that life stops happening. It just means that MY life stops happening.

But, as far as the "afterlife" goes; NO, there is no afterlife. Yes, nobody knows "for sure" whether there is an afterlife or not, but let's be honest...

If there was an afterlife, don't you think that someone from the afterlife would've contacted the living by now and explained what the afterlife is? :dunno:

I mean, seriously...millions and millions and millions of years have gone by, but there hasn't been one instance where someone from the afterlife has tried to communicate with us. So, no...when I die, I'm dead and nothing cool is going to happen. My body is going to rot, it's going to stink really bad and piss a lot of people off....nothing more.

When did you die and come back with the knowledge there is nothing after death?

No human will ever come back from the dead or "spirit world" and tell us anything.

That should be no "theory" is ever certain.
