OK... you made the point that less than 1% of the members had posted on this thread due to their being over 13,000 members.
Currently there are 39 members logged in and you yourself said that you have been here when there have only been 9 members logged in.
I was merely trying to strengthen the point made by myself and Dinalt that of those 13,000 registered members very few ever really post here. The majority are probably completeley inactive as you yourself stated.
This therefore would suggest that the 41 members who have posted on this thread would in fact represent a significantly higher proportion of ACTIVE members than the figure of 1% that you suggested.

Although i have not read this entire post, perhaps there was something going on that we all dont know about, and may never know about......either way it does seem unfair, I never had any use for LordRaven, but his return as 001 was a welcome change, he seemed to change himself and was a good poster.
If some of you REALLY want to get 001 back on, then I would suggest a different approach. BEcause this one ain't working apparently.
Now I am no expert on how these places are financed. But I assume that Freeones is financed by the advertising that it provides to various sites.
So I would suggest that if you don't get what you want then you threaten to go to the advertisers (via email) and tell them that as long as such and such a reason exists that you will be boycotting all products/sites advertising on Freeones. If enough of you did it I am quite sure that you would have a better chance of getting whatever it is you want.
And even if these advertisers are not paying then I still think they would bug Freeones about your problem if you threatened to boycott their site(s).
Bottom line is, you cannot reason with someone that hungers for lust or greed with decency. You have to threaten to deprive them of what they greed or lust for. And in Freeones case it has to be either power or money.
Telling them you will leave or others are leaving ain't gonna effect them much (as we have seen). They know that all this will blow over and others will take the place of the departed.
You want 001 back - make them take him back by economic boycott. That is the only way that I can see.
It's like the N.H.L. lockout. If the huge group of fans went to the league and said you start playing again by the start of next year or we will stay away for at least 3 months - I guarantee you (if, and I mean if, the league believed the fans) the lockout would be over by fall. Guaranteed.
Siting around complaining about it and saying that it is not right and other things like that mean nothing to higher ups. Money and power is all they seek. And it appears that this also aplies to whomever is the head honcho on this site.

WOW! If it's going to go that far, then just leave and go to another message board. This board doesn't belong to us. It is Freeones' board. If anyone wants to do better then start your own board. But God forbid you make a decision that upsets your own members and they start boycotting you.
Freeones did us a favor and tried to make this board a better place by changing the rep system so that we can see names. People were happy for a while.
Posting and contribution is rewarded by getting points after 100 posts that can be exchanged for free DVDs & stuff. After 5000 posts you get a shirt. Marie is always working on contests to make the board fun and exciting and gives away MORE FREE STUFF!
It is possible that they are at the end of their rope and feel as if no matter what they do, there are members here that will never be happy. Someone used the term "spoiled brats" in another thread. Maybe we've had it too good so far? Imagine how you would feel if you were in charge of this board.

i don't know exactly whats going on in here. as far as the poll yes it is dead, this is a porn website forum and you would think that it is a forum run by the government. just seems to be way to many restrictions and rules for a porn website. I am not trying to ensite anyone to economically boycott this site. And I wouldn't do it (I could not be bothered - as many on here couldn't either, I suspect). I was simply offering an alternative.
However, banning someone for expressing their opinions is a very dictatorial approach to things. Consensus should always rule. Now if someone is using someone else's real name. Or is illegally threatening them; fine; ban them. But for simply expressing their opinion - even if it does 'cause '****'? No. You are going to probably offend somebody, somewhere with every statement you make.
And after all. This is a porn forum. Not a public library. To be overly touchy in a pornography forum is, to me, at least a little hypocritical. What do people expect?

This is porn. Something that would have been ******* 20-25 years ago in the United States. It is not high brough stuff. It is going to attract some people 'on the edge'. Bomis Babes used to have people threatening each other (not physically - just intellectually) and all kinds of stuff. And no one ever got ****** - that I am aware of.
