Afghanistan is the next place, but seeing as I got out in 2006 I will not be going but I will be there in spirt with my brothers. As of right now my old unit was deployed 9/30/08 ans is currently over in Iraq.
 
I have a serious question for you Jason. By now the entire world knows that Bush and Cheney lied about the Osama Bin Laden/Iraq connection and that you weren't send to Iraq to fight terrorists but rather to secure US interests in the region. How do you as a soldier feel about this?

I feel that when I was fighting the Insurgants in northeren point of the Sunni Triangle in Trkirt we got passports from the insurgants from Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Sudi Arabia and Iran. So as far as securing American interests, I have never lead an ****** on an oil pipelin or refinery. We stopped the insurgants and secured the town in order for them to have free election in over 30 years.

Also, it does not matter how I feel about the strategic US goal in Iraq. I did my duty and proudly served my country and that is all that I care about.
