The best part of this story is in the judge's decision:

Yeah, I agree with you. It does have several uses, but they all involve the same type of basic use, whereas a Swiss Army knife does far more then just cut.

Although I'm fucking pissed off, that the cork screw on my hardly ever used SAK bent to fuck while trying to open a bottle of wine for the wife.

I think certain aspects of our military were testing those things for house clearing, and close quarter urban warfare....but as you've said, I haven't heard of them being adopted by anyone. Although I think as long as they're allies, the company may be able to sell to foreign markets, and private military.
