Just to let everyone know, the Firewalker DLC has been released yesterday. It's free and it includes the Hammerhead vehicle, 5 missions, weapons, and alternate costumes. You have to log into the main menu of the game because it's through the Cerberus Network in order to download it. There is another download that is 160 Microsoft Points that has a costume for Thane, Garrus, and Jack.
On April 6 there will be another download for 560 MP and it includes the new character Kasumi and her loyalty mission, loyalty power and a sub-machine gun.

I just downloaded it.
I like her (a lot better than Zaeed in fact), I'm going to start my Renegade playthrough with her so that she's with me through out the whole game. Why did you have to start a new playthrough? I just loaded up my Paragon playthrough (which was completed) and she was there.

All my playthroughs were finished, so I had to start another with an imported character to get to her. This is probably the 7th time through, last one was to try and get the sexy dance from Kelly, but I didnt get it, so this time, charm the pants (and mask) off Tali. Only one I havent is Jack, but im not a fan of her so im not gonna bother going there.
i know this is SUPER late but i just finished ME1...what choice did you all make? spare the council....let the council die?

On my Paragon playthrough I saved the council. On my Renegade playthrough I let them die.
You destroy sovereign regardless of saving the destiny ascension, you just lose a few human ships in the process. Careful though, when you import your character over it has subtle and sometimes not so subtle effects on your ME2playthrough.
In fact, darkwarrior, I dont know if youll agree, which one is preferable to the playthrough. In every ME1 playthrough I let the council die, so I had to start anew for the renegade ending (Which ME2 new playthroughs assume on), I can see the benefits of both, but im torn over which i prefer.
I haven't started my Renegade playthrough on ME2 yet but when my Paragon met with the council in ME2 they still acted like jerks towards me. Luckily I only had to see them once but who knows what will happen in ME3.

i just DL'd the DLC content but my last save was right before facing Saren for the 1st time at the citadel....so my questions is... I guess i have to start a new game to play the 2 DLC's cause i cannot get to the galaxy map from my last save spot?
is this more of a pain in the ass for me just having to do the beginning of the game again up until i can control the ship and get to the galaxy map? and then i guess i have no crew who have high skill levels?

They rectified that in ME2. When you beat the final mission you can elect not to close out the game so that you can complete any side missions that you skipped and DLC that you added.
What about ME1? i have to start over? to do "bring down the sky" and the other DLC?
Yep, use the same character again and youll bring all your personal equipment with you, you can rank up you allies straight away and re-equip them from your stash. Beause you lose all recruited allies, all their stuff goes back to your inventory.
It only takes about an hour to get spected up and back out on the normandy, in which case head straight for pinnacle station. Bring down the sky I think you can do anytime up until Ilos.
