Sorry to be the divider (again) here, but mental illnesses are treated with medications such as Zoloft, Xanax, Prozac, etc. and accompanied professional psychotherapy. They're not treated by crank, speed, coke, dope, downers, and crack bought from the local death-dealer.
A junkie is a junkie, and a patient is a patient. There's quite a difference. People self-medicate sometimes with street drugs or alcohol and they fall into disrepair eventually, as we've seen with Chasey and Chloe Jones and numerous other in The Biz, and sadly if they'd just sought professional medical and/or psychological help they might have been able to manage their lives.
