Google Chrome

I'm not a big fan of google but I was curious how well this browser works. Anybody here use google chrome? If so how is it?

I gave it a try and it's not as fast as Firefox. Some others have said it's faster than Firefox but it doesn't appear that way to me. Firefox is still the best.

It is a decent browser, but it doesn't offer much that's better than Firefox 3, and loses out when it comes to addons.

That's what I love about Firefox is all the options for privacy. The option to never remember history, Adblock Plus, and BetterPrivacy. I'm leery of Google Chrome.

Why save the world, when you can rule it?
I was using chrome - but my spybot S&D doesn't immunize it, so every time I run a spybot scan I have loads of programs that have snuck in - so I've switched back to firefox

i've given chrome several honest chances but i never could like it...so far i've yet to find anything better than firefox IMO...

IE 8 for general and porn. firefox for porn and multitasking with loads of tabs

I'm a big fan of FF but in its current incarnation it's just far too buggy, slow and too readily available to crash whenever it so pleases that it's just not worth using at this current moment in time (still, if it's either FF or IE, FF wins every time). Having recently switched to Chrome I've found none of the problems listed above, specific issues such as the Adblocker specifically made for Chrome that doesn't work aside it is a very good browsing ... uhm ... browser. :D

As opposed to Google, with Always Store History (in their data center), AdsMadeForU and WorsePrivacy. I'm leery of Google in general these days. In regard to Google, I'm kinda like one of those tinfoil hat weirdos that thinks the gubment is always out to get 'em.

What happened to the nice Google boys who used to say "Don't Be Evil"??? :dunno:

I've worked on a computer that had Chrome and it didn't ring my bell... though it was better than IE (course, two tin cans connected by a string are better than MicroSux IE).
