Google Chrome

You have any idea the amoutn of adware you get on your PC cos of chrome?

Do tell.

All of the independent testing I've read on Chrome has it on par with any other major browser. Don't mistake simplicity for vulnerability.

lubelessanalprobe.com left me unsatisfied, just like insertingmidgetsanally.com did, so I moved on.

Keep up, man. Sheesh.

Fuck, NOW I remember. And to think, I thought those would tide you over. :(

If you check my earlier posts on this thread you should read that when I was using FF, my spybot S&D would immunise it to protect it against threats such as adware. However my spybot would not immunize google chrome and as a result, when I would run a sweep with spybot, hey presto I would find a LOT of adware, sometimes over a hundred instances.
Is that good enough for you?
BTW, I apologise if this seems like attitude, it's not meant to be rude :hatsoff:

I used Chrome until I realized it pops up the 6 sits most or most recently visited 'automatically.'
Now, i suspect that can be disabled, but there are people about for whom a peek at my viewer might prove shocking... no not my ****... they know more about sex then I do! But the housekeeper might have a coronary, & it'd be hard to explain that to her husband!

heh.
Mozilla is my preferred, i type as I slave away on IE 8... which made some 'improvements' I detest.

Interesting. Seems like we've got something going on under the hood of Spybot that I haven't heard of before.

I gave up using Spybot ages ago; now use MBAM instead

Just installed Opera 11 on my new netbook and liking it. very fast too and now comes with FF like extensions ;)

Break out the check book and pay grandma for the rubdown...there's a google gnome now!!! Sweet!

I use Chrome mainly because the tabs are better than FF,but admittedly,FF is a better browser.

Microsoft's new browser, Internet Explorer 9, seems to have little to say about Microsoft. It doesn't even say "Internet Explorer" anywhere on the browser.

Microsoft has trimmed the fat off the glassy browser frame, creating more on-screen playground for Web developers to stretch out on.

It's clear Microsoft has made some major development changes to bring back the millions of Web users who have been lured away by Mozilla Firefox, a competitor that has whittled Internet Explorer's share from more than 90 percent to 57 percent of the market.

I've used Opera and Chrome, and they're okay. I've used Safari and hated it. The only thing I **** more is Internet Explorer. After all these years, you'd think MicroSoft would've come up with a better interface for handling bookmarks (favorites), but it's still pathetic. Originally, I fell in love with NetScape and nearly cried when AOL bought them out, because I just knew AOL would bury it. I've used FireFox ever since and love it. I do keep IE on my computer, but that's only because of a few sites that don't work well FF.

firefox is good..... Maybe m old school, but I definitely like FF over GC.....

Chrome is good for me so far, I've had no issues yet but I still use IE8 as my main browser because I like the way it loads pages better (top to bottom)

Firefox still beats Google Chrome in speed. Chrome has to step their game up in add-ons. Add-ons that work properly. Adblock Plus for Chrome sucks.
