froch-groves

Both fighters made weight earlier today, coming in under the 12 stone (168 lb) limit. Froch will be making his 3rd defense of the IBF Super Middleweight title. Scott Quigg, Anthony Crolla, Jamie McDonnell, and Andy Lee feature on the undercard.

Pacquiao returns to the ring for the first time in nearly a year. No titles on the line, but it is a 12 round welterweight bout. Featured on the undercard is a rematch between Evgeny Gradovich and Billy Dib for the IBF Featherweight title. The undercard also features two-time Chinese Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming.

Rios 146.5, Pacquiao 145

Froch wins on a 9th round TKO to retain the IBF Super Middleweight title. Groves scored a knockdown in the very first round and bullied Froch early on. Froch began to come on in the second half of the fight and had Groves reeling, but a controversial stoppage by referee Howard Foster robbed fans of what could have been an epic conclusion.
