Favorite Scotch/*******

Hey!

I'm a huge fan of Islay Scotch and thought there might be other scotch or ******* fans out there who might wanna talk about it!!

My favorite Scotch so far is Laphroaig Quarter Cask. Salty and smokey!!

My favourite Irish ******* is Tullamore Dew. I picked up a liking for it years ago and always receive a bottle or two for my birthday or christmas.

i'm fond of johnnie walkers blended goodness be that red, black, or blue...haven't tried gold or green yet....the one i want to try is macallan (all of them eventually hopefully) but for some reason it's not worked out yet

I've had a bottle of Highland Park for about 4 years. Still haven't opened it. Saving it for a special occassion.

My current favorite is my bottle of 12 year Glenlivet. I can't bring myself to finish the dram or two that's left.

I'm quite fond of Wild Turkey Rare Breed though I can't afford to have it stocked as often as I would like. On the scotch front, I have found that few things in life as wonderful as Johnnie Walker Black with pecan pie.

For the love of god...stay away from the snow grouse. It was OK right out of the freezer but had the most awful aftertaste when it warmed a bit.

I will take Jack Daniels any day of the week.
I just tried Stranahans Colorado *******, which tasted more like a scotch than a *******... I guess it is made more like one too, because they use an unused oak barrel.

I have a friend who is a bartender, and a few years ago he poured me a glass of The Macallan 21. It was pretty good. I'm not really a scotch drinker, but anything that a bar can charge $35/glass for must be pretty damn good compared to the other choices.

Makers Mark wasn't bad. But probably Crown was my favorite. More of a gin guy myself, actually.
