Funny at first reading, but then I think he's off-base somehow.

Of course, the irony with that one is that today's Republicans and conservatives are the ones more likely by far to quote Churchill for every trivial deed they perform, and yet, think of a 5-minute conversation with someone who STILL likes Bush today. Frightening, yes, but still, their ignorance and - often - hatred of democracy is not quite reason enough to throw out democracy with the 29%er bathwater...
