Is anyone else looking forward to this game ? I think it's going to be incredible . You will play as a mercenary left for dead with malaria in a hotel room by an evil arms dealer in Africa . Naturally yo will want to have your revenge ! The action will take place in an enormous map where you will be able to choose how you do each missions or even witch missions you do . The great part of the game will be the environement witch is totally destructible ! All in all this looks like a winner and I'm really looking forward to it .

I heard this is a prequel to the original (PC) game, you play as Jack Carver long before being stuck on Jacutan (the console version had the mutant powers, the PC version didn't, I think). Is Steven Dorff doing to voice?

Still it looks good.

I was reading an article about this the other day:

This game has nothing to do with any other Far Cry games
You don't play as Jack Carver (apparently he's not very interesting).

Instead you choose from 13 characters who you want to play as. I assume that each character will have different skills and will add a new dynamic to the game.

I'll be buying this on release day.
