Dude, Dallas Green is a wicked guitarist, singer and songwriter.

The fact that you don't like something doesn't make it 'suck'.

Nowhere in this thread was it specified that the guitarist/song/solo has to be technical to be considered.

"Epic" implies something that is beyond, in some fashion, what a chimp would come up with after a few shots of vodka

:dunno:

In case you haven't noticed, I started this thread. As the OP, I've opened up the descriptor 'Epic' to posters' interpretation.

If it sounds good, it is good.

I've invited people to post what they like. I've watched and listened to everything posted thus far. I haven't considered certain pieces 'epic' either, but others do - and I respect that.

Now, I like that riff and the song ... IMO it's not 'fucking terrible'.

And I will caution you now to cease trolling in this thread.

Velvet Revolver - American Man

Great riffing throughout and the solo @ 1:10 before the 2nd chorus is killer - such great tone.

"Something like that ... it's improvised so I don't know it note for note."

Great song.

I've been listening to this guy for almost 2 years now. Everything sounds great: the riffs, the soloing, the voice, EVERYTHING!
