The site name as it is very much puts the fear of government into anyone in their right mind over here if you go anywhere near it, though my taste tends to prefer girls atleast in the early 20s and more "young lady" than "girlish" anyway. So on the one hand the name is a red flag, but on the other, I wasn't likely to be interested anyway because I like my women older.

Yeah club 17 makes it sound like you feature girls who are 17 years old. Whether you do or you don't, that's the message you're sending. That sort of thing is illegal in the United States, and that's going to scare off plenty of potential American customers from your site. Now you don't have to care if Americans want to buy your products, and you don't have to agree that the age of consent for this sort of thing should be 18, but that's not going to change the fact that there are millions of potential customers out there who are going to avoid your product because they think it's illegal.

Yes, it bothers me but it's more than just the name and more than just this particular ClubSeventeen site.

I'm bothered by the whole "teenage trend" in the adult industry, all those girls wore are indeed over 18 but are dressed like schoolgirl/teenage girls. I'm bothered by companies using the "teenage fantasy" the some people have.
I know, it's better to have pedophiles masturbating on this kind of stuff than raping real teenage girls but still, this kind of stuff makes me uncomfortable. I get what you're saying and totally agree.
I understand the appeal of being reminded of a time when sex had a certain "newness" and excitement to it.
Just so creepy when that crosses over into "omg her body looks like she's just finished puberty" territory. If someone is consciously seeking the barely legal look, I just find it so gross. On one hand I think the overwhelming majority of people know that you don't have underage girls on your site. Still I bet there are at least a few casual porn viewer weirdos that do go to the site because of that. Lets also be honest with ourselves. Way back when the name was created that was probably a factor in deciding to choose the name in order to get those people to come, wasn't it?

On the other hand I have to admit that it does seem to be going to the lowest common denominator for the sake of marketing. Still I think taking the high road and doing the right thing would be to change it.
