I had a BOGO for BJ's so I used that instead. Because of the US Open Surfing the structure was full and I parked about 3 blocks away....for free! They are fresh - when you get one they remove the corn husks from it then put sauce over it. But bring water because if you get it with the Red Spicy Sauce (Highly recommended over Green Mild) it has a "Kick" to it and you will need water. The place was PACKED today with a ton of nice "scenery" ranging from under 18 to over 50. You show up there in a bikini top............you will break necks

Are those Tamales just barely being cooked, or at least a lot of them?
I see a lot of them being very light in color vs. the more unmistakable Redish Chile Colorado-filled ones to which I am accustomed. Are those lighter-colored ones of some type other than Chile Colorado-filled. Cuz I do know there are also some delicious Green Chile Strips-filled ones that of course don't get Red.
