Coronavirus

I literally haven't left the house in almost 2 weeks. My wife's got a letter to say she's temporarily paid off. The first couple of covid-19 deaths in my town. I know we're still in the social distancing/lockdown stage but I would like to see some light at the end of the tunnel but no sign yet.

Heart breaking story on news yesterday of a girl losing both her parents (in their 70s) to the virus within a matter of hours. So sad.

The temporary hospitals are up and footage of the diggers preparing multiple graves are doing the round. Really scary.

Stay safe all.

I very much want to watch government and the system burn. The system can reboot itself. (As all things need to do, every so often)

You sound very Jeffersonian. "Every constitution, then, and every law, naturally expires at the end of 19. years. If it be enforced longer, it is an act of ***** and not of right."

I find the system solves itself, and it would be a shame to enforce half-assed measures just because of the number.. the people no longer have the confidence to challenge anything, in some countries.(Cough here)
whether its left or right, lib or con.. I find that every 10 years the system needs the ethical opposite to continue.

2016: Elect super capitalist.
2020: Socialism kicks the reality to millions of workers that the medical coverage your work gave you, is, in fact, useless and broken. The system continues along under free rides for everyone.
Hardcore capitalists are ****** into their pillows about all the money they arent making. Better reboot into 'safe' mode and see how many people now need 'incentives' to go lose their soul for barely making rent.

So I believe we're due for a 'return to ****** values' in 2030. They'll probably repeal gay marriage, make pot a death sentence and abortions are *******, again.

We're beginning to see more stories about the psychological damage being done to people who are shut-ins. I'm lucky enough to live in a rural area, so at least I can walk around outside and do yard work, etc. If I lived in an apartment or condo in the city, I don't know what I'd do. It's just like house arrest. Now they say about 220 million Americans are affected by these stay at home orders - we got ours yesterday.

I'm concerned that we're going to begin seeing more stories about people freaking out.

Good luck to you and yours.

Same to you and yours buddy.

I live in a small town and I have a garden PLUS I don't get bored easily lol

But you're right, the psychological damage done by this will run on. Health care workers are.heing asked to play God, who gets a ventilator and who doesn't and so on. Horrific.

Some 'people' are liking having everyone in lockdown.

Yes. And they've added mental disarray and loss of balance and lalalal....every day they discover something else they didn't know about this illness. Two strains? More? All we can do is minimize contact, stay clean, don't fucking panic, and tops over all think about how others feel.
