Point of condom is none other than safety...not knockin' trust, but is your life worth trusting to others that you don't really know(as in the industry?) I once thought I could trust a relationship, and found out I couldn't. Call me bitter if you want. The discussion has to do with the industry, and since none of us fuck THAT much, let's wait for a comment that matters...Fair? KIDDO....
I don't care whether or not the guy in a porn is wearing a condom. It doesn't make me hot but it doesn't turn me off.
Seeing condoms sucks. It's just another reminder that NOTHING enjoyable in life comes without consequences. I'm with peter, but we need to be compassionate about the health of the pornstars too seeing condom sucks I agree but having cum on the body or away from orifices would be safe I believe.
In other words, i think we should learn to accept seeing condoms on penetration scenes and be contented seeing cum in other parts of the body away from orifices. If our fave pornstar dies from HIV then we won't see new movies from them in the future.

Wow...I see that the results are almost evenly split as of right now...very intriguing.
A rubber ruins a scene. Nothing pisses me off more when I spend cash on a rental to find out the scenes are of safe sex. How boring. Not to mention this procludes the chance of a creampie. I believe their will always be condomless porn since there will always be a market for it. As for the health angle STD's are simply an occupational hazard. I mean come on, porn stars are getting paid big money to fuck. Their are many occupations that involve serious risks that will never see the kind of money that can be made in porn. Just think of a few like fire fighters, hospital orderlies, radiation workers, and people who labor in chemical factories. Just use some common. Now risks can certainly be minimized. Continued rigorous testing, and contractual penalties for engaging in unsafe sex outside the industry and lying about it are just a few. Companies could limit the pool of talent involved in the unprotected sex on film. This would limit the potential for exposure as a smaller group statistically would be safer and more likely to be honest if they are close knit. Couples could work exclusively together. Think of it as a cottage industry. I just want to see babes to continue to get fucked bare back. Is that too much to ask?:ak47:
I think it depends a bit on the context of the scene.
If the scene is supposed to depict sex between a married couple, or a couple with some other kind of longterm relationship, it just looks weird and unrealistic for them to use condoms, as it's more common for people in a relationship to use pills.
But if the scene is supposed to for example depict a one-night stand, then condoms are called for.

As for the question at hand, I've prolly seen more than my share of films despite my relative youth, so I do feel I have a rather "educated" opinion. I can certainly relate to those who've said they find condom scenes a turnoff, since they were my BIGGEST turnoff when I started watching movies. Over time, however, my tastes have changed, and for whatever reason they don't bother me that much anymore... I suppose I've just gotten used to them over the years.
