Christian History of Denial and Misinformation

We are not talking the existence of God this time wise guy. Prove that my hypothesis is flawed. If you think I am going to ignore the advances of leftist ideology and believe that they are going to stop here, then you are the one that is delusional. I know it is uncomfortable for you but Islam seeks to replace Christianity in this country and 50 percent of Muslims want Sharia Law. So tell me where I am wrong.

Are you fucking kidding me??? Fine, I'll bite, let's have a discussion about your hypothesis.

First of all, it's not a hypothesis. For a hypothesis to be proven wrong or right it needs to be testable. Your claim cannot be tested since it's A, a "what if"-statement, and B a prediction about the future. So I'll be quite interested to see how you will prove your statement to be right (what you should have done in the first place). What you have is an assumption. So let's see if we can find present date information that might give your assumption a grounded foundation.

Christianity is on it's way to being a minority faith.

Wrong. A study performed in 2014 shows Christianity in the US is declining from 78.4% in 2007 to 70.6% in 2014. It still is the country in the world with the largest number of christians, and a dominant religion. Unaffiliated (including atheism) is on the rise to 22.8% (+6.7%). Non-Christian faiths represent 5.9% (+1.2%) with Islam rising from 0.4 to 0.9%. I could already stop here to call your claim horse shit because of the difference between 70.6% versus 0.9%. For your claim to have even a chance Islam needed to rise drastically, and christianity already needed to fall drastically for Islam to become the dominant religion in the US. Especially if you want this to happen in the next 100 years, let alone 20 years. Noteworthy is that the numbers between Islam, Buddhism and Hindu or negletable and Jewish are the strongest minority with 1.9% (+0.2). (source: PEW Research Centre).

What needs to happen now is for the secular atheists to finish them off.

Wrong. Finishing someone off is the domain of religion, not of atheism. In a worst case scenario a religious militant will grab a gun or explosives while a militant atheist will write a book. The fact that atheists talk alot about christianity is simply a result of living in an environment dominated by christians and reacting on the claims made by christians. Atheist do not focus on one single religion and ignore the rest. Also interesting to notice is the shift from "atheism" to "the left" in your claims later on. Atheism is just the lack of belief in a god and that's it. This means atheists often disagree on many issues and ideas including politics, culture, etc. Describing atheists as left is as correct as saying all popes ride a motorcycle.

Then we can begin the new chapter of allowing millions more muslims to immigrate here.

Wrong. Then? New chapter? First of all this sounds like a conspiracy between atheists and muslims where atheists first "finish off" christianity and then open the borders to muslims to take over the country. I don't need to point out the horse shit with this one. For the sake of argument let's ignore this and focus on immigration:

Christians continue to make up a majority of legal immigrants to the U.S., the estimated share of new legal permanent residents who are Christian declined from 68% in 1992 to 61% in 2012. Apparently you forgot to calculate that in your assumption, haven't you. Whoops!

Over the same period, the estimated share of green card recipients who belong to religious minorities rose from approximately one-in-five (19%) to one-in-four (25%). This includes growing shares of Muslims (5% in 1992, 10% in 2012) and Hindus (3% in 1992, 7% in 2012). The share of Buddhists, however, is slightly smaller (7% in 1992, 6% in 2012), while the portion of legal immigrants who are religiously unaffiliated (atheist, agnostic or nothing in particular) has remained relatively stable, at about 14% per year. (source)

Please also note that lots of these muslims are refugees and asylum seekers on the run for war and religious oppresion. (source), which I will mention later on.

Once again your claim christianity will be wiped out and replaced by Islam doesn't make sence.

Then in the interest of diversity confirm at least 2 muslim supreme court justices.
Now these justices will not have rendered any opinions previously that will preclude them from serving on the court, but once they are confirmed and seated, Islamic hell breaks loose.

So, we have this poor innocent minority that now is crushed by an intifadah of atheists, who then open the gates and millions of muslims stream into your country and now muslim supreme court justices are installed. It's interesting to note how hard christians are lobbying since DECADES to get christianity to influence politics on ALL levels and it's very difficult to get their views pushed through (fortunatelly), yet all of a sudden, just like that, everything will be overturned? Because of the atheists who are secretally muslim, right...

They will not resort to prayer and legal challenges to overcome what offends their conscience, they will kill or imprison you if you dare to take them on

As stated before with information from the PMI (source) numbers indicate that muslims more often have a status of asylum seeker and refugee because of war and or religious oppresion. These data also suggest that your claim of US muslims being extremists who are ready to kill you is really unfounded, and is a generalisation that smells like prejudice.

The left have made a choice, ignore Islam and suppress and demonize Christianity/Judaism [...] good old days when you could insult them and ridicule on message boards or in public [...]
a part of me will enjoy seeing the left get their just desserts [...] The future is quite bright indeed.

Yeah, the typical inferiority complex of christians: "We are only a poor innocent minority, these evil atheists are out to get us". The numbers show that your claim can not be supported, but now the true colors are showing isn't it: butthurt because someone said something about christianity and now we're going to bash atheists with a nonsens story about the evil muslims. You need some help dude. Once again, atheist do not focus on one single religion and ignore the other religions. How many times do I have to point this out in this and several other threads.

I have decided that is exactly what needs to happen

Exactly: you have decided this needs to happen, as opposed to "this might happen based on some information or data I have". If this is your wet dream you are a sick bastard.

You live in Belgium. There are 100,000 Muslims immigrating to the United States PER YEAR! 50 percent of them want Sharia Law. There are 6 million here now and in 25 years the number increases to about 35-50 million allowing for the current birth rate of children born to Muslim parents. We are pandering to minority groups far smaller than that now. So not only is it going to happen, it is happening now. You are tripping all over yourself trying to deny what it happening right at this very moment. You are demonstrating flawed left wing logic. There is a movement in this country to social engineer our military which by the way resulted in 12 being slaughtered by a muzzie jihadist mole at Ft. Hood, include transgendered soldiers you name it, so they don't stop there the courts are next. So yeah, bring on what is already started to happen and let Islam take it's foothold in our society so it can bite radicals in their asses. It's the only God damned thing lefties understand and I will unfortunately be proven right. You are a fucking fool. And I will add that no one is entitled to immigrate here even legally. Judaism and Christianity are the prominent religions here throughout our history and introducing a diametrically opposing philosophy through immigration is a purposeful attempt of diluting our culture by nut jobs like you. I just hope they don't start a wave of Belgians next, especially if they are anything like you.

BC has used the very small percentage of gays as a reason not to take them seriously or to consider them for equal representation, yet he's glabbering on about muslims taking over the US in 20 years when they are less than 1% of our population. 80% of democrats in our government are christian, including Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and all the others you probably think are behind this.

I'm seriously concerned about you BC. You sound like fucking Glen Beck who predicted a caliphate in the US by the end of Obama's first term and constantly says democrats are trying to make religion illegal. That's fucking crazy people talk and based on NOTHING factual. To say muslims are going to take over is ridiculous, even for you.

Guys, you mustn't trouble these folks with long, logical essays. Just BS has its mindset and nothing you can write will change that.

These threads are just more like wanking contests, and who shoots the biggest or strangest wad wins.

The Fly has risen above this petty foolishness.

You live in Belgium.

Well thank you very much for mentioning that. Belgium has 6% muslims. 25% (!) of people living in Brussels are muslim, in Flanders about 4%. Last time I checked every state in the US apart from Arkansas and New York (both 2%) has less then 1% muslims living there. Yeah we are really living under Shariah Law now, we're screwed man! Interestingly enough most people over here seem to realize not every muslim is a terrorist, and most muslims seem to be very happy with the rights they have and couldn't care less about shariah law. It's a miracle!

We are pandering to minority groups far smaller than that now.

It didn't stop you from crying christianity was becoming a minority group. I always love the hypocrisy about christianity being oppressed when others get the rights christians always had.

You are tripping all over yourself trying to deny what it happening right at this very moment. You are demonstrating flawed left wing logic. No data to back your stupidity up? Awwww *sad face panda*

Denial? There were 176 mass shootings in the USA in 2015 already (source). But you only seem to remember this event because it's linked to a jihadist. And no, extremism should be handled with whether it's one case or many. But to single out these events as proof of some movement and how much muslim extremism is on the rise is called bias confirmation. When we look at the numbers on terrorism in the USA (source) (and this is not only about muslim extremism) we can clearly see the number is DROPPING! I even took a screendump for you since you are probably to lazy to look this all up yourself and always seem just pull your assumptions right out of your ass:

There is still terrorism, which is bad of course, but these numbers don't support your claim of a movement and muslim terrorism being on the rise.

Here's something curious:

From this chart we can learn that terrorism in the US is especially focused on business related issues. Please also note that the numbers for abortion related terrorism (christian terrorism) is very high.

Judaism and Christianity are the prominent religions here throughout our history and introducing a diametrically opposing philosophy through immigration is a purposeful attempt of diluting our culture by nut jobs like you. I just hope they don't start a wave of Belgians next, especially if they are anything like you.

Interesting. Islam was introduced in the USA by christians who brought slaves into the country, dumbass. And like I said earlier, because of your confirmation bias you seem to ignore some things and only remember other. Let's see what history tells us about this so called Jewish and Christian alleged superior philosophy:

How about the Jewish Defense League with over 74 terrorist attacks in the US (source) whose stated goal is to "protect Jews from antisemitism by whatever means necessary"? On a side note, this number is higher then the official mentioned islamic terrorist attacks I could find on some anti-islam websites, which I find very funny. So, are you going to throw jews out as well?

How about the murders by anti-abortion activist Christians like Michael F. Griffin (killed Dr. David Gunn 1993), Paul Jennings Hill (killed Dr. John Britton and clinic escort James Barrett, wounded Barrett's wife 1994), John Salvi (killed Shannon Lowney and Lee Ann Nichols 1994), James Kopp (shot a number of abortion providers, killing one, Dr. Barnett Slepian 1998)? the list is much longer and you can read about it in the article Ant-abortion violence on wiki

How about the terrorist bomb attack during the Olympic Games in 1996 (source), killing one, injuring 111, the first of 4 bombings by the Christian anti-abortion activist Eric Robert Rudolph?

How about the Army of God (source), a Christian terrorist anti-abortion organization that sanctions the use of force to combat abortion in the United States, who are responsable for several kidnappings, bombings, arsons and murders?

How about Aryan Nations (source) a White Christian Separatist religious organization described by the FBI as a terrorist threat?

How about The Covenant, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord (source), a far right political paramilitary organization dedicated to Christian Identity and survivalism, active in the 1970s and 1980s and described by the FBI as the second-most dangerous domestic terrorist organization at the time?

How about The Phineas Priesthood (source), a Christian Identity movement that opposes interracial intercourse, the mixing of races, homosexuality, and abortion, and of which followers are known for planning to blow up FBI buildings, abortion clinic bombings, bank robberies, shootings and murders?

How about the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting (source) where Page American white supremacist killed 6 Sikh?

I could go on for a while but I made my point.

So much for the attempt of diluting your culture by nut jubs like me.

Still tripping over yourself I see. You named fringe groups or lone disturbed individuals all of them. Not groups that are part of state sponsored terrorism, not groups that have one common religion that unites them. The percentages may be lower at this time but they are growing and at this rate it will surpass the rate in other countries. For every group you mentioned I am sure we can cite left wing organizations that have been just as radical and deadly.

What is your fucking problem? It seems that I have exposed your indifference to Islam because you think their tactics actually are justified for the greater good of undermining the evil Christians and Jews

Every Muslim that enters this country either believe in the Qur'an to the letter or worse feel that jihad is justified and half want Sharia Law in this country. I also detect a hint of antisemitism and a Christophobe from you. You have taken my comment that I am entitled to express on one post of this thread and tried to turn it into a 2 day pissing match. I also take great pleasure in reminding you that I am an American , and you are just a Belgian,, your country has about as much influence economically and militarily as Benin. Am I an asshole? You God damned right I am, Am I am an Islamophobe? You God damned right I am. And I also should remind you that Belgium is just a blip on the radar when it comes to world opinion. What we do here affects everyone, introducing a whole new ideology into our already complex political system makes it even more difficult for our courts and lawmakers to sort through. Your country can fly the ISIS flag for all I care and adopt Arabic as the national language. I see the underhanded social engineering that is taking place in this country on a daily basis, and have seen it from its inception. The things predicted already are coming true with more to come. The left seeks to change the political climate through immigration because they can't increase their voter base or secure it in the arena of ideas. So they have to change the rules of the game. Fortunately, we are starting to notice here and we are in the process of adjusting, it starts with the next election which I am growing more confident that my side will win. I used to think you were intelligent and reasonable but I it is crystal clear that you are nothing more than an ideologically driven, left wing atheist nut job that doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. What is even more pathetic is that the reason that Muslims are immigrating to your country and you are unaffected, is that your little country isn't even worthy of their rage and basically use it as base camp. Congratulations dipshit

Never a thread or an attack to the akbar muslims. You guys certainly don't lack in courage, in attacking a religion responsible for the progress and culture that you enjoy today (but of course you don't even know that...) and that doesn't kill you back when attacked.

Exactly. The only thing I had to do to point the stupidity out of that particular argument is show that no religion is immune to extrimist groups. Yet you still fail to see it. Your answer really shows your position. When it comes to extremist christianity it's just lone individuals with not common religion uniting them (wtf) and you ignore it, they can do the fuck they want, but when it's islam it equals terrorism and they are all united scum for you. All of them. And you still did nothing to back your claims up. For a lawyer that's pretty embarassing.

What is your fucking problem? It seems that I have exposed your indifference to Islam because you think their tactics actually are justified for the greater good of undermining the evil Christians and Jews

Once again you're making things up, you are very good at that. My problem is stupidity. I will defend your right to have your religion as much as I will defend their right to have their religion. I don't care if someone worships god A or god Z, or any god in between them. I don't care for a god, I care for mankind. And whenever someone feels the need to influence a society, whether it's you who wants all muslims discriminated because of your fear, whether it's christians who want intelligent design teached in schools, or a muslim extremist who wants to blow your fucking ass up, I will stand up against it because I am part of that society. Especially since all these religious from so called religions of peace and merciful gods don't seem to give a fuck about anything outside of their personal club.

LOL. This is getting embarrasing even for you BC. This is the only thing you can use to back your claim up, a false quote? :rofl2:

Contrary to common rumor, however, neither Jarrett nor her parents are Iranian, nor (as far as well can tell) are any of them Muslim. Jarrett's parents, James E. Bowman and Barbara Taylor Bowman, were both American-born U.S. citizens from Washington, D.C. and Chicago, respectively; the couple merely lived in Iran for about six years in the late 1950s and early 1960s while James served as chair of pathology at Nemazee Hospital in Shiraz as part of a program that sent American physicians to work in developing countries.

Valerie was born in Shiraz during the Bowmans' sojourn in Iran; she returned to the U.S. with her parents in 1962 (when she was five years old), whereupon she attended prep school in Massachusetts, graduated with a B.A. in psychology from Stanford University in 1978, and earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1981 before returning to Chicago to begin her working career. We've found no evidence Valerie Jarrett is (or ever was) Muslim, her only apparent connection to that religion being the incidental one that she temporarily lived in a predominantly Muslim country with her American parents for the first few years of her life.

The quote to attributed "Valerie Jarrett, Stanford University, 1977" about her "seek[ing] to help change America to be a more Islamic country" is an unfounded one that has no source other than recent repetition (primarily on right-wing web sites and blogs) and that in its commonly reproduced form is too stilted to be believable as the utterance of a fluent English speaker (e.g., "I am an Iranian by birth and of [sic] my Islamic faith"). No news article or document associated with Stanford University records Jarrett as having made this statement back in 1977; and if there were any credible evidence Jarrett had ever said anything remotely like this, it would have been a well-covered news story since shortly after the 2008 presidential election and not a obscure meme that didn't pop up until several years later.

Lol at ," well covered news story" you said it was false, it has not been proven false. So when are the media going to start covering the news? They haven't done it for the past 7 years. This is actually getting to the level that I like it now. You have spent the past 3 days trying to disprove my assertion that Islam's goal is to dominate the world and American society. So far you have shown examples of Christian factions and Jewish fringe groups. Not a one of them are sponsored by any state organization. It is always the same with pseudo intellectual wannabe's like you. You eventually put your foot in your mouth. Now you are going from Islamic paranoia to responsible media. You truly have diminished any credibility you once had to just becoming a bumbling fool. There are only 2 major factions of Islam, Shiite and Sunni both have the stated goal of dominating the world. There are so many factions of Christian faith they can't all be named. We can't even get Obama's college transcripts and Jarrett's comment are false? Based on the track record of this administration and the pandering to Muslims the evidence suggests that she did say it. I am very glad you decided to stick your nose into this because it exposes what an agenda driven fool you really are.

Man I'm really getting tired of your stupidity and attempts of baiting BC. really, look for help. Frankly this discussion was already over three days ago.

Well, prove it to be true. Show me this 1977 document where she says that. Show me these documents of this alleged movement (and apparently they are organized as well), etc. As you should have already done with all your claims but you ignore everything and only try to bait and insult. Is this what you do as a lawyer? Show no evidence of whatever claim, just insults and baiting? And all of a sudden extremism by some is ok, but extremism by others isn't?

It's over man, accept it.

Well one thing is for certain, she is on record as an apologist for everything Islam. Axelrod, Emanuel And Gates didn't like her. You said it was definitely fake. There is more evidence by her track record to indicate that she did say it and your claim that she did not.

Snopes hahaha

You should pursue a career in comedy

Off to Chicago for a few days....

Thanks for giving me a good laugh before I go...

Snopes...*chuckle*

Sorry, but the burden of proof lies with someone who is making a claim, and is not upon anyone else to disprove.
Actually, there are no rules of evidence here. He failed to discredit the quote but declared it a fake. In my line of work, that is when expert witnesses come in to the picture. But being that this is not a court room, I can contend anything I want. Leave such tedious matters as rules of evidence and where they are applicable up to people that actually understand such things, you are obviously not one of them.

M'kay thanks.
