I wish girls who looked like this could be in more mainstream movies and shows. If you look at Bollywood or Latin American media, they put hot women in all kinds
of roles. I sometimes think that casting directors (who are mostly women) play a role in selecting "cute" not all that great looking actresses for a lot of roles. Like Meg Ryan's annoying ass throughout the 90's. Everywhere you looked she was in another movie.

It could be that they think putting a bunch of cute and attractive women that are already above average in it all the time stretches the credibility of mainstream entertainment as it is and would make it too hard to willingly have people suspend their disbelief if they went any farther. If they go any more than that it's just going to be blatant eye candy and T&A, which is fine, but there are other places to get that already, like here, without it superseding the plots of serious stories.
