fuck yea they are! They are fun even though they are irritating. That one where you gotta save the presidents daughter pissed me off. I spend all that time getting to the end without being seen and then mission failed. I didn't know what to do when I got to her? I did manage to get to level 26 in survival by myself though! Before I got slaughtered. I saw a red cloud red converging on my area in the mini map. There was that much red. 3 jugernauts, an attack helicopter and a fuck load of foot soldiers with assault riffles...I stood no chance! The place I was held up for 25 waves became my tomb!

I found Hostage Takeover with the President's daughter hard. I can barely get anywhere before I'm spotted and killed. Will take some time for me to find my stealth ability.

One of my biggest complaint about the new Spec Ops is the endless wave of levels. I don't like the idea of it going on forever. I like the enjoyment and accomplishment of gaining a three star award and beating the mission.

I wonder how they'll continue with the series. What will the next "Makarov" storyline be like?

I found this game to be vastly inferiour to both MW games that came before it. You can see that this game wasn't made by the same people who made the first two MW games. Most of the talent left Infinity Ward before this game took off in development. I felt so let down by this third entry to the MW series. I honestly don't see me being as excited or as interested in MW4 when it comes time for it to arrive in stores. This game on Veteran mode is easier than MW and MW2 on Veteran mode. I never found one single section hard or annoying in it on Veteran mode. Unlike one level each in MW (Chinobyl Ferris Wheel rescue) and MW2 (the two and a half minute rush to the sub with the nuke on it). MW3 was no fuss.

MW - 9/10
MW 2 - 8/10.
MW 3 - 6/10.

meh, the multiplayer is fun though! I agree the campaign is lame. Boring as hell.

I don't play MP online on any game. I only play single player mode or co-op splitscreen (L4D and L4D2). So I can only speak for the offline side of the game personally.

Anybody else find the multiplayer so fucking addictive? I guess I'm a bit OCD because after a game I check the challenges and I'm always "almost completing" this or that challenge, whether I need just a couple hundred XP for a promotion or less than 10 kills to get the 75 kills with some weapon or to go from sleight of hand III to IV, so thefore I need to play another round just to find out afterwards that I'm about to accomplish other challenges or am halfway to the next rank which will unlock more weapons or perks, ad infinitum.

When I got this at midnight release, I couldn't stop playing. Then Skyrim came out, and MW3 is collecting dust.
