Yeah, you didn't answer my questions. If god told you to kills gays and children (it does) WOULD YOU?! How does morality come from a book that tells you do something it THEN tells you not to do? Life here, on a universal scale, is utterly insignificant. No argument there. But that doesn't change the fact that there are over 6 billion people trying to share this planet at the moment. And the best way to do that is to do exactly the opposite of things like stealing, killing, raping, etc. That's no way to ensure the survival of your species. This is where morality comes from in the first place.
