Have Aliens Found Us? Scientists’ Discovery of a Mysterious Interstellar Visitor - Oct 3, 2022

The SMACS 0723 galaxy cluster (those are not stars, but galaxies) is 4.6 billion light years* away or [5.9 trillion x 4.6 billion] miles away!
* The bright galaxies seen in the foreground of the image are how they appeared 4.6 billion years ago

As a matter of perspective, Earth is but one small planet orbiting an average-sized star (Sun) in the Milky Way galaxy.

So, how many star/solar systems are there in our own galaxy?
Conservatively speaking, even if only 0.1% of stars in the Milky Way have planets, that means that there are still ten million solar systems in the Milky Way.
The best estimates we have for the number of solar systems is therefore anywhere from 1 million to as many as 100 billion in our galaxy alone!

From what can be observed by astronomers, it has been estimated to be at least 2 trillion galaxies in existence, making planet earth a mere grain of sand
in the totality of the universe.

Scientists think aliens are trying to contact Earth after detecting five new radio bursts from space
https://www.unilad.com/technology/scientists-detect-aliens-contacting-earth-882551-20230413

It's a trap, if we respond to their messages they will come and destroy us. :(
We should remain hidden and quiet for a few centuries until we have developed the tech to defend the earth.
Or....hear me out. OR................all the countries have to band together, and work as a team to defeat our would be alien overlords, bringing us all together, and bringing harmony to all Earthlings.

On a side note, if they are mean, at least I'm packing heat.

Even if every country completely united we would still be too primitive to defend against aliens that have interstellar spaceships.
Unless the government has classified alien tech they got from crashed alien spaceships.
Better to lay low for a few centuries until we have the advanced technology and weapons to defend earth against hostile aliens.

What should we do if aliens attack the earth?

While it is highly unlikely that aliens will attack the Earth, it is always good to be prepared for any eventuality. In case of an alien attack, here are a few things that you can do:

1. Stay informed: Keep yourself up to date with the latest news and information about the attack, if any. Listen to the authorities and follow their instructions.

2. Take shelter: Get to a safe place as soon as possible. Find an underground bunker or a well-protected building where you can hide and wait for the situation to improve.

3. Stock up supplies: Keep a stockpile of essential supplies like food, water, medicine, and first-aid kits handy.

4. Stay calm: Panic will only make the situation worse. Stay calm and focused, and follow the instructions of the authorities to increase your chances of survival.

5. Contact the authorities: Alert the authorities about the attack and seek their assistance.

It is important to note that an alien attack is highly unlikely, and there is no need to panic or worry. It is always best to take necessary precautions and hope for the best.

Coincidentally, this just came out:

Looks like we were gifted by evolving at the perfect time, but we're going to need to capitalize on that advantage soon (like in a thousand years or more)

Probably aliens telling us to quit shooting shit into space, because it's cluttering up their backyards.
