"Awkward" Question for Miss California at Miss USA Padgeant LOL

Conspiracy...
Hmm. We don't need fashion. We don't need guns. We don't need SUVs. We don't need McMansions. There's a lot of things we don't need. What kind of world would it be if only the NEEDS existed? Oh yeah. It would look a lot like 90,000 years that thing called 'The Jurassic Period'?

Fashion is an art form, much like painting, architecture, higher end cooking. All of these things give our lives more meaning than when we all sat around a campfire in our caves and roasted little beasts.

Nobody needs a $145 white dress shirt, but those usually are made with better cotton and have better construction than a $12 dress shirt at Costco. Therefore, they last longer.

As for Miss California. I don't really give a shit about beauty pageants. They are very crude and demeaning to women. Pageants are nothing more than a public excuse for people to act phony.

I have to believe that all contestants are prepped ahead of time as to what the questions most likely will be --what topics will be covered, etc. I think she answered her question in the way she wanted to and she lost. That's the way it works. The contestant answers, the judges subjectively cast a vote, a winner is declared. It's not too difficult.

I more have issues with her post-pageant behavior. This whole "christian girl" routine she's trying to pawn off to the masses is insulting. I should think it's insulting to Christians for her to talk about underage, nude photos and competing in beauty pageants with a cross around her neck.

The only thing that I find odd is how someone with fake tits could feel comfortable talking about how gay marriage isn't natural or part of God's plan.

Listen - The fruits that run these pageants are far to the left and they knew all about where this woman went to school. They had no business setting her up like they did.

Set up all the way !

Set up???
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it certainly appears she chose a random question out of a fish bowl, just like all the finalists prior to her.

Here's the clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XMvviFbkf0

Look, Perez Hilton is a schmuck, and the way he's handled this situation has brought discredit to him, as well as a degree of negative attention to the cause he champions.

But what's far more alarming are the legions of people who are trying (or willing) to whitewash the fact Miss California's a liar and a hypocrite who on more than one count violated a contract. All her subsequent "oh poor me I'm being so victimized for my answer" whinig is a bullshit smokescreen intended to deflect from her own character flaws, and how they played out long before she answered the question. And amazingly enough, it's primarily the christian right, the self-avowed beacons of personal responsibility, who are defending her. Oh the irony

Gay people can't recognize beauty?

Yeah, I guess. But I'm willing to guess miss Hilton doesn't spend nearly as much time "admiring" women (which I doubt he could even begin to conceive of with regard to women), as he does with males. It's all just stupid. But as most have noticed, the g'damn padgeant is a farce anyway.

^Most likely Perez Hilton was not "hired" because he knows more about women than you or me. He was hired because he is a celebrity scab and the people who actually tuned into that pageant, read his "blog," dream about living in Hollywood someday and are members of the OMG! crowd....

I applaud Carrie Prejean for standing up for her beliefs and not caving in to answer this question in a politically correct way.

And it shows the hatred, bigotry, and intolerance from the other side when you don't agree with them and give an honest opinion as Ms. Prejean did.

I don't see it. If any alteration to your body at all was against God's plan then religious people would never be able to cut their hair or clip their finger nails and women couldn't wear makeup. I see doing that to yourself as a pretty different thing than one's belief on gay marriage.

You don't see the difference between cutting your hair and cutting your body open to put implants inside of it?

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body."
