This is a tough topic for some
Why would anyone in the MSM or anyone else feel the need to explain something like that? Has Obama or his supporters said being black is a qualification?
Friday...are you seriously gonna say that there will not be an increase in "black" voters in this race? And likewise, that the majority of those will vote for Obama?

Surveys indicate "black" voting sympathy in the US Military are a polar opposite from the overall military vote. Whites, hispanics, male, female, enlisted, officer, etc. all fall much closer with the overall yet the "black" vote is flip opposite.

Are you seriously gonna sit there and accept the belief that somehow these voters are somehow more enlightened than all the rest of us or have some information/education about the issues that all the rest of us don't have?
Ask yourself this -- Why did Oprah Winfrey, a champion of both women and black causes, endorse Barack BEFORE the Democratic Primary was over? Hmmm...she had to make a choice between a woman and an African-American and before the issues had even really been discussed, and while most thought Hillary was a shoe-in, she endorsed Obama.
But I do think there has been some attempts to try to make Obama's race an issue from the other side as a disqualification. It really hasn't been very effective IMO.And while there is nothing in writing about race being a qualification for being eligible for the Presidency the history of the position is that it has always been held by a white, actually almost exclusively white anglo saxon protestants ( Kennedy being the lone exception to that) so McCain might like that to be seen as a qualification.
The two references I gave above, from non-McCain sources, indicate it is not "the other side" that is making this an issue, but rather the voters that are indeed making it an issue. The "left" is simply using that old Jedi mind trick and deflecting it to make it look like it is the "right" that is causing this.
The MAJORITY of these voters are voting for one reason and one reason alone...skin color. And it's happening the other direction too. There are "non-blacks" that will vote against Obama because of his skin color.
Now before you freak out, I
am African-American. My simple point throughout this entire deal is that people are voting based on race...not on reasons.
Ya' know what, I have absolutely no problem with a "Black" man becoming President of the United States...nor a White, Hispanic, Oriental, Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, Athiest, Protestant, Buddhist, etc.
They simply are not qualifying nor disqualifying criteria. But people on both sides are treating it as such.
That's why I hope these brain-trusts that were plotting these chicken-shit attacks and assassination attempt spend the rest of their lives getting ass-raped in federal prison.
I will say it again.
Race is neither a qualification nor a disqualification. IT SHOULD NOT EVEN BE A FUCKING ISSUE, but until people quit voting based on their skin color (white, black, yellow, purple) racism will be alive everywhere...and yes, us African-Americans (blacks) can be racist too.
Some may argue that Barack Obama may not get elected due to racism. There is equal supporting evidence he may in fact BE ELECTED due to racism. For such a civilized nation, we still prove ourselves to be of a very basic mindset.
OFF-TOPIC...OMG I can't believe Oprah has a freeones page!!!
