What up, britian.

I love european alt rock, especially from the UK. The more psycadellic it is, the better. So I'm wondering, could you maybe tell me about a few little-known bands, or artists that I might not have heard about, because i live in a wasteland of mostly souless mainstream music.

Come to think of it, don't worry too much about whether or not it's specifically alternative rock. Just hit me up with some good tunes.

Thanks daddy. :D

British people are good at drinking, swearing and fighting, sorry but i've lived there and discovered the truth :). but heey, every kind of people has disadvantages. Nobody can be perfect.

Some you may know Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Steve Hillage, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, The Cult, Stone Roses, Joy Division, Portishead, Stereo MC's, The Kills and hundreds I've not mentioned, although even in the UK we suffer from the souless mainstream music :)

british people are humorous, entertaining and funny people. Yes, they drink a lot, but hey tell me who doesn't link drinking?

Hey British person, why are fish & chips exclusively packaged with newspaper? And in relation, why aren't more British foods wrapped in newsprint?

Do we actually still use newspaper? It's been a long time i've seen it and probably not sanitry enough for health and safety.

It was the food of the proletariat, so using the days old newspaper to wrap them up in is an easier way of serving them than putting them in containers, or on plates. It's also cheaper.

A form of recycling if you will :hatsoff:

(Although you cant use newspaper anymore, for hygiene reasons. Now it's just plain white paper)

What else could be wrapped in paper? Beef Wellington, maybe ..... Roast Beef? Nah ... it just wouldnt work.
