*2024 US Presidential Elections* - Candidates, Statistics, Campaign Timelines, Debates

A little early but who do you think will throw their hat in the ring?

Mike Pence?
Gavin Newsom?
John Kasich?
Mitt Romney?
Andrew Yang?
Bernie Sanders?
Donald Trump?
Elizabeth Warren?
Marianne Williamson?
Andrew Cuomo?

Way too early for 2024. Too much will happen between now and January 2023 - specifically the 2022 elections.

Bernie is the only one I would count out (he'll be 83). Of the group, Trump is the only one I could see getting a nomination.

I would add:
Kamala Harris
Paul Ryan
Nikki Haley
Kristi Noem
Any number of Republican Senators (Cruz, Cotton, Hawley, Saase, et al.)

At some point, AOC's gonna run. Maybe as soon as 2024 but more likely 2028 (or even 2032).

I wanted to see some preliminary candidates just for funzies. A lot can happen is right. Let's see if any of the people on our list end up in scandals. They're politicians and I tried to keep my list balanced.

You might be right about Bernie. I listed him because of peoples' interest in him. I originally put Kamala then I took her off my list assuming she's sticking with Biden. Paul Ryan is another interesting one. I wonder how much support he would get. 2024 is a long way away so we shall see.

You assume Biden goes for a second term. I believe he's a transitional president who steps aside in 2024 for Kamala. He'd be 82 heading to 86 by the end of his term.

AOC may want to run, but I don't see her getting broad enough support this soon in her career. She most likely needs to lead something first.

Bernie will be too old, sadly. AOC needs to try in 2028, hopefully Biden holds on in 2024 and they could shift on to a more socialist and progressive candidate. Yang will probably have another shot, he seems pretty popular and gaining backing. I don't care about the Republicans, they're all wankers, but they would be crazy not to have a more moderate candidate rather than another fucking loon.

Justin Amash expressed interest in the Libertarian nom for 2020 but the party definitely needs to get its house in order. Any LP candidate needs to be campaigning now because the selection process is so late in the season.

I'd like to see where Gabbard fits. If anything, if she's stay with the Dems, I'd love to see her roast Harris a second time.

I don't know if Republicans are capable of having anybody but a loon anymore without causing a civil war in their party. Too many of them are too far gone along with a gigantic portion of their base. A lot of the "moderate" Republicans are feckless cowards that will bend to the loons if it serves their political survival. The loons of the base will not be so inclined to go with a moderate.

I had a GREAT call with my all time favorite POTUS, President Trump!

I’m so grateful for his support and more importantly the people of this country are absolutely 100% loyal to him because he is 100% loyal to the people and America First. Cont’d...

Seems like Trump thinks backing loons will help the party. Not sure that 's what McCarthy had in mind...

Any man who uses "whiz" to refer to urination is not qualified to be President.
Reminds me of this gem: "When the [secret service] agent told the president [LBJ] that he was urinating on his leg, Johnson replied, “I know, that’s my prerogative.”"
