Just watched it yz played pretty poor , also I didnt think Ireland played anywhere near there best!!

Day 1 over - Ireland in typical fashion take their time in getting going. They took their foot off the pedal in the second half. Kearney had a shocker.

Wales almost clawed their way back from defeat only for Jones to throw a pass which England intercepted. Still wouldn't rate England - great players but Johnson should never have been given that job.

Tomorrow will be interesting alright. The last thing us Irish want is a backlash from the French in Paris next week.

Chabal was given a rough time when he came to Limerick! Both of those clips are from one match - Munster v Sale in January 06 - an amazing match. There is also footage where Chabal was having a scrap with one of the Munster boys and some lad from the crowd threw him a slap! Brilliant.

A guy I know was working as bouncer/security guard in a Galway nightclub and they had to throw Chabal out! That was when Sale where playing Connacht in the old Parker Pen Shield.

I'm not a real rugby fan. I make no claim, but, c'mon, let's give him credit for catching the ball knowing he's facing a horde of guys about to jump on him. It looked like they were carrying him backward and preventing him from getting to the ground, if that's what most players do in that situation...

That first clip looked like a pretty big hit.

Not the same kind of players : Jonah Lomu was way faster but he was purely an "offensive" player.
Chabal is slower but he way better when it comes to tackle opponments.
