Yes, people are going indebted when they can't afford to pay medical bills and not everyone has a health insurance, only people who work have a health insurance. If you are not working or are a leech off, you won't be reimbursed to 100% because you don't have any health insurance. So before talking make sure that you know what you are talking and make sure that you know 100% about the healthcare and health insurance system of the country which you are talking, in the case of France, you obviously don't.

Nothing to do with it. Wrong again. My mother pays for her own healthcare and her own health insurance, she is self reliant and independant even though not young anymore, she owns her own appartment. I will be the sole heir of her real estate property, also I have a very good and stable job just 45 min from where I am living. Am I going to drop off everything just because of a sudden impulse? No, everything has to calculated and planned far in advance. If I had to move in the USA, I would have first to find a job with a permanent contract and place where to live before applying for immigration.
