2007 MLB Thread

No. not at all.
The Indians will probably not finish in last place.
It is a very tough division though, and I was willing to bet that the Royals will not finish last.

The Yankees had a good, not great opening game against TB on Monday, they banged out 9 runs and Carl Pavano did not pitch as bad as i expected.....they should be able to take the division, although Boston  usually gives them a good run, but hopefully they will choke as usual :jester:

I wonder if the new owner of the Cubs will have will be able to underachieve as much as the current ones. Considering it's the Cubs it's almost guaranteed.

I went to check some scores yesterday and noticed that Tampa was on top of their division. I wonder how long that will last. :1orglaugh

Well gentlemen it appears that the Redsox offense is officially awake. 14 -3 over the Mariners this afternoon. Sure it was against Seattle who been pretty much sitting around for a little bit but hey gotta get started somewhere.

that might not be a bad thing. two years ago, they couldnt win at home. :o

Having a worse home record than away not as bad a thing as it seems other than the years it happens. Unless they constructed their roster in a way that badly suits the conditions of their home ballpark, more often than not it means they had some bad luck and probably will have a better record the following years as long as the team itself doesn't regress.
