I never agreed with use of participles in English— it reeks of the Latinate for one, and it's still two words. If you were going to merge them, "I am havingsex now with my hand as I type," for example, you might have a leg to stand on.

Seems like the NBA owners are at least legit in their position (not profitable) where the greedy-ass NFL owners are just grabbing for more.

They can have a noun, like a "baby", but not a verb, and sex in that instance is being used as a verb, as in "sexing". (example: "I am sexing her good and hard; sexing her with my penis.")

I've never been comfortable with "having sex" being used for the act. How do you possess an activity? To me "having sex" means my wang. (Not the computer, but my sweet human sex-penis.) "Doing sex" is so much more accurate, wouldn't you say?
