I think you made the right decision in not going back to him. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Right now he's probably feeling either A. Remorseful, B. Regretful, C. Insecure, or a combination of all of the above. In trying to reconquer you he's appeasing his conscience and bolstering his confidence. Either way, he's doing it for a selfish reason instead of out of genuine care for you. Before you call bullshit on me, remember: I have a penis; I know how we operate. Besides, if I know you as well as I think I do (and I certainly don't), you deserve better than a cheater. Just stay strong.

San Diego? Whereabouts? My ***'s side of the ****** is from San Diego. I don't know the area too well, but I have relatives in La Mesa and Lemon Grove. My ******* lives there too. Maybe, if I ever go visit him, you and I can get a ****. I wouldn't hold my breath, though.

I've been busy with work on and off. It's been a fairly steady year, but the regularity at which I've gotten irregular hours at work cost me my 4-year relationship because she couldn't handle the uncertainty of my daily schedule.

So, yeah, things are pretty status quo over here.
