*2016 US Presidential Elections* - Candidates, Statistics, Campaign Timelines, Debates

Hiliary 2020
Have to hold my nose and vote for Hillary. Trump is the most dangerous, idiotic, narcissistic candidate in American presidential history.

America needs some kind of change, but you don't just accept the first insulting blowhard who appeals to your lowest senses you can find.

Dangerous how?
BTW most of the parent companies who own almost all the entire news outlets in the USA have "donated" to the Clinton foundation. In a court of law that would make anything they say inadmissible.
But just using common sense should prove they are biased and tainted. Don't believe anything they say, especially the fake poll numbers they make up.

Donald Trump appears to have donated $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation

http://www.businessinsider.com/dona...nated-100000-to-the-clinton-foundation-2016-8
Despite his recent criticism of the Clinton Foundation, Donald Trump apparently donated at least $100,000 to the organization, according to a 2009 tax document circulated online Tuesday night and foundation records.

The Clinton Foundation's website shows "Donald J. Trump" under a list of individuals and organizations that donated between $100,000 and $250,000 to the foundation.

The foundation recently came under fire after Trump accused his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, of running a "pay-to-play scheme" during her time as secretary of state that allegedly awarded donors with special treatment.

Despite Hillary Clinton going on the record and denouncing any accusations of misconduct, Trump has called for an independent investigation into the matter in addition to demanding that the foundation be shut down entirely.

What happened to Ann is a warning to every Trump supporter : This is a woman who put her trust, her faith, who went on TV shows and radios to support him, who made opening speaches for his meetings, who even wrote a book just to tell people how great Trump is. And here he is, stabbing her in the back on the launch day of the book. This is probably the worst thing he could have done ot her. And he did it. And judging by her reaction, it doesn't look like he apologized to her like "Sorry Ann but I had to do this if I want to win this".

Think about it Trump voters : If Trump is elected, you could all be Ann Coulter : if he can be *** unscrupulous, so vicious towards someone who did so much for him, how do you think he would treat millions of people who just casted a vote for him ?

Ok so 3 polls, one gives Trump 1% ahead of Clinton, the second Hilary 5% ahead of Trump and the third Clinton 10% ahead of Trump. So Which one is it ? I guess the 2nd oe is probably the most correcty one.

One thing I don't understand is why no pollster take the time to do a election survey, polling every state to determine wether Hillary or Trump wins each state and then count the delegates each candidate has won ? Why do pollster still do popular voting polls. Since 2000 we know that a candidate can win the popular vote and stil lose the election.

Awww. Poor Ann :1orglaugh

The good news for her is that her "books" take very little time to write. Basically she just transposes many of the rants from any of the ones she's written before to a new one, then does a little bit of customizing and voila...conservatives will actually pre order theses pot boilers at $25 a pop. Even more amazing, it's all the same stuff she talks about on radio and TV for free, but for some incomprehensible reason (to me) conservatives seem to think owning a library of the utterances of Coulter, Hannity, Levin, Malkin et al is somehow a very hallowed thing; as if it's akin somehow to owning first editions of Shakespeare or The Canterbury Tales. So I'm sure she'll be back on her feet in no time  ... although those who pre-ordered this particular one might end up feeling just a wee bit taken lol

That is so absolutely true, isn't it. :1orglaugh

Way back when, Rush wrote a book and then a second book, I bought both (I was young, these things needed to be learned). All it was was word-for-word what he had done on the radio and his short-lived TV show. And it's not like anyone (including me) is ever going to read these things more than once.

People would be better off putting together a vintage collection of X-Men comic books.

The others aside, have you ever read Levin's books? Liberty and Tyranny, Plunder and Deceit , The Liberty Amendments are all steeped in constitutional principles and he is a constitutional scholar.

To include his books with the other authors and pundits either shows you are ignorant or purposely trying to discredit that which is laid out soundly and has also caused many people that leaned left to rethink their opinions.

You have quite simply turned from someone that used to make reasoned arguments to some hack that makes excuses for liberals at every turn and dismisses every conservative as a whack job conspiracy theorist.

If it's not from Nate Silver, it's pretty much rubbish. Everyone's favorite hillbilly kept crowing about "unskewed polls" in the last presidential election cycle, yeah, we all got to see him get devoured by that "landslide!!!".

Yes he's very accurate. The LA Times poll that showed Trump ahead was a tracking poll with only 300 "likely voters" per day. I question their methology, anyone that still hasn't made up their mind for weeks by now is probably going to sit on their ass Election day too. Most of these polls still over sample land lines so their sample skews more elderly too.

Obama is a constitutional scholar too, and you have nothing but disdain for him, so :dunno:

Levin's books are intellectually superior to the others I mentioned. I'll grant you that much.
But the bottom line remains the same: demonize liberals and show me the money.

Oh horseshit. Just within my last few visits here I wrote about the idiotic cronyism within the DNC that giftwrapped this nomination for such a severely flawed candidate, and have been consistently critical of BLM's ridiculous demands and addressed their need to completely disassociate themselves from any kind of ********.

Calling out whack jobs and conspiracy theorists is something I'll do no matter which side of the aisle they belong to. It just so happens (and gee I can't imagine why) that when it comes to this president those kind exist in droves. I can't stand Trump but I've stood up for the truth when I've known he was being smeared, and will continue to do so.

I make it a habit to read conservative authors. I read Coulter's last two or three books and I read Levin's Ameritopia and The Liberty Amendments. I read Michael Savage's Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder: Savage Solutions and Dinesh D'Souza's Obama's America: Unmaking the American *****. These are just the books that I read within the last year. And all of these are complete rubbish.

The three books from conservative authors that I found worth reading were Charles C.W Cooke's The Conservatarian Manifesto, Arthur Brooks' The Conservative Heart: How to Build a Fairer, Happier, and More Prosperous America and Yuval Levin's The Fractured Republic: Renewing America’s Social Contract in the Age of Individualism. Did I agree with everything in these three books? No, but these books were intellectually stimulating and I certainly learned more and came away with a better understanding of conservatism. I couldn't say the same for the other books. They all read like a talk radio script and maybe that's because most of those authors are talk radio hosts and/or political pundits. They just regurgitate the same conservative talking points that I've heard for the last 8 years and offer nothing new.....But hey that's just my :2 cents:

Mark Levin's college transcripts can be made available, he has actually argued a case in court and hasn't falsely staked claim to being a professor when in fact
He was a senior lecturer.

Mark has written several books on the constitution and Obama has written none.

We seem to have very different opinions on what makes one a constitutional scholar.

Even Michael Savage (who I can only take in small doses) is not completely off base in all instances.

Ameritopa shouldn't even be included in the same category as the others.

Charles Cooke, Brooks et al are not traditional conservatives.

I guess we can be thankful that you are not a conservative or surely their opinions would present themselves here in the form of an Iceman post.

Yeah, I know this stuff. But I consider this to be pretty BS (even thought it gives Hillary about 8% chance of winning. Do you believe that : a liberal who don't buy bs, wether they come from the Left or the Right...).

Chances of winning, wtf ?!

This is a make or break election for Nate Silver's credibility. He has been completely wrong about Trump until now ( before the conventions he had Trump beating Clinton) He gave Trump a 1 percent chance of winning the nomination for about 8 months until it was obvious Trump would win it.

I believe Silver is being unbiased and trying his best to be accurate, but he has said that there are a lot of fake polls out there skewing the numbers and that he seems to put more stock in newer methods (online, etc, which is weird) than traditional polling.

If he calls this one right sometime in late October or early November he will be king.

If he misses it and calls it for Hillary and she loses, both he and Larry Sabato will go the way of Dick Morris.
