*2016 US Presidential Elections* - Candidates, Statistics, Campaign Timelines, Debates

:1orglaugh. l like the Putin idea. I think I'm going to jump (shirtless of course) into the local bear enclosure and wrestle it to declare my support for Jill. Look for me on the news tonight. It'll be the headline - Manly guy wrestles bear into ********** then they hug it out afterwards. Or something to that effect.

:1orglaugh Perfect! You'll even manage to appeal to her "men, bears, we are all one creation" hippy dippyness
I definitely see this going places for you and Jill, oh yes I do :love-smi:

Oh no's!

That right wing loony bin the L.A. Times has Trump within 1 point of Pantsuit.

http://graphics.latimes.com/usc-presidential-poll-dashboard/

Wether its one or ten point, she's still leading.

But the problem within national polls is that they do not reflect reality. In 2012, news outlets and polls made us thought the result would be tight, that the 2 candidate were very close. On popular vote, they kinda were : Obama won 51% of the popular vote, Romney 47%. But when you look at the delegates, it was a clear Obama vixtory : he won 332 delegates, Romney 236. Obama won about 62% of the delegates, Romney about 38%.
So, if you wanna see if the election will be tight or will it be a clear victory of one of the two candidates you have to care about two things :
- Who's gonna win the swing states.
- Does any usual stronghold of one the the two parties (like Texas for the GOP or California for the Democrats) can be overturned.

The loony left and their hand wringing is a thing of beauty.

It's Not Funny! :nono: My hands are tired from all the wringing. And it's not just that! I keep worrying so much about Bonespur that I walk into closed, glass doors. I startle when others address me. I haven't fed my cats in days. I'm not sure but I may have caused a tanker truck to crash and burst into flames (but it could have been something else, I dunno, it's Trump that I'm worrying about). I can't identify items in my refrigerator anymore. My boss asked me to pass him a folder and I screamed, "Fascist overlords lead to the ocean's demise", then pulled the fire alarm.

It is cruel of you to mock me so.

After Another Campaign Shake-Up, a Trumped-Up Donald Trump?

http://www.usnews.com/news/articles...r-campaign-shake-up-a-trumped-up-donald-trump
A second shake-up at the top of Donald Trump's flailing presidential campaign hints that another turbocharged iteration of the candidate is on the horizon, leading to a GOP nominee who is bolder, completely unshackled and more irreverent than ever before.

The effectual demotion of campaign chairman Paul Manafort, onboarding of new campaign CEO Stephen Bannon and elevation of campaign manager Kellyanne Conway represent the candidate's burning desire to return to a "Trump-centric" endeavor, in the words of one campaign staffer, as he's watched himself fall significantly behind Hillary Clinton ahead of the fall homestretch.

"Of the man, by the man and for the man," the Trump staffer says. "He's what got us here. You can't sideline the messenger."

It'll be a redirection to the Trump of his primary campaign glory, with more large rallies, a dominant day-and-night media presence and fewer rhetorical refinements meant to kowtow to skeptics.

But how's that any different from what he's been doing all summer?

For some, the change undoubtedly will be difficult to see.

In the last two weeks alone, the Republican nominee has labeled President Barack Obama and Clinton the founders of the Islamic State group, cast doubts about Clinton's physical "stamina," and made a remark at a rally that was widely interpreted as a call to *** ******** against the Democratic nominee.

He's also fallen precipitously in the polls and trails in crucial battleground states, with the number of Americans viewing him as temperamentally unsuitable and unqualified for the presidency rising. Yet at the behest of Manafort, Trump's been nudged to wage a more traditional campaign, one featuring flashes of scripted policy speeches, fewer rallies, restricted television appearances and a more restrained presence overall.

As Trump saw himself falling further behind Clinton than he's been the entire campaign, he lost faith in Manafort's stewardship, prompting him to put in motion a reshuffling of his leadership. It didn't help Manafort that he was being besieged by questions about his financial ties to pro-Russia ****** he has worked for in the past.

"They were trying to change him, and every time they were trying to change him things got worse. What he's seeing is his campaign's floundering, sputtering, and they tried to declaw him," the Trump staffer says. "He didn't feel like it was what got him here. Manafort was trying to run an establishment campaign. Square peg, round hole."

Favoring a sports analogy, one former Trump staffer quips: "The team stops listening to the coach, so you have to bring in a new coach. The owner of the team is also the quarterback, so it always puts the coach in a tenuous position."

This is the second significant shake-up of the Trump campaign. In June, Trump's ******** helped trigger the ouster of his first campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, who is now a CNN contributor. But as U.S. News reported earlier this month, Trump was staying in touch with Lewandowski, who clashed with Manafort – a flagrant signal that a restless Trump was anxious about his high command's approach.

Officially, the Trump campaign is denying any "shake-up."

Aaaaand, I'm back. Whew, that was close.

So was Romney for much of the last 30 days of the 2012 election.

The loony left and their hand wringing is a thing of beauty.

Romney never led at any time he was fed crap by his people. Polls are useless they are deeply flawed. I would rather have a wood squrriel as president then a bald, little handed, Russian pole smoker.
Americans HAVE to be smarter than to elect someone who on a daily basis puts his foot in his own mouth.

Nah. But I'd give my left pinky toe to see all the quack lefties heads' explode if he got in. It we be beyond golden...

Can you imagine all the sports teams and gold medalists that would show their true colors and snub Trump if he got in?

As I said, I would pay to see it...can only hope I see it.

I hear ya but in the end we barely survived 8 years of Dipshit W the last thing we need is any of Dipshit Donald.....

And 8 years of Barry was what?

I'm trying to figure out the comparison to Bush II and Trump.
If that is going to be a reason to not want Trump then it kind of backfired.
Bush I-Clinton I-Bush II-Obama-Clinton II.
They are all the same thing.
In fact many of the people working for Hillaree worked for Bush II, Mccain, and now her.
The israel 1st, make war not love, Project For a New American Century war machine while bankrupting the country and putting all of us and our descendants in debt while taking away our rights and freedoms and continually lowering our quality of life so they can all get rich off of other peoples misery, death and destruction crowd.
Project For a New American Century - Look them up and the people around them. They haven't gone away. They have no party affiliation. They go from PREZ to PREZ creating **** storms all over the world. And now they are with HC.
Trump has nothing to do with these people.

Why can't people see that the reason the whole damn system is against Trump is because he might shake up their get rich off peasants party.
We are the peasants. All of us.
The banking system that keeps most of us living from paycheck to paycheck never getting ahead.
The Politicians. The entire media, not just the news but all information we receive. The Big Bizzes like Oil, Pharma, ect.
The million and one GOV agencies. The military industrial complex and the billionaires who control it.
People like George Soros andf other NWO Billionaires who think they can buy entire Governments and every politician in them.
I could go on but my point is this is a Big Club that we ain't in. A small group of Mega Rich getting Mega Richer along with their sellouts they own and knowingly lie to and deceive as a living for a quick buck.
While most of the peasants get poorer and scareder.
This is the ***** that's almost entirely against Trump and for HC.
We are absolutely nothing to these people. In the same category as pond scum in their eyes.

Trump may be a shill. He may be a fraud. He may not be. We don't really know.
To me Trump may as well be an inanimate object like a Pineapple.
To me and many others out there this is an election not about two candidates (one who got where she is through vote rigging) but is really a choice between the People of the world and the mega rich criminal element which owns everything and everybody and is destroying the world in the process.
It's clear which side HC is on that's fer sure.

I honestly don't get it, mah bruthah. And as always, fuck Hillary too. But you are making a Baryshnikov-on-a-rodeo-*****-with-an-Indycar-shoved-up-its-ass leap of faith if you think Baron Trump is the answer to any of this. Especially the military industrial complex. They are going to sell your boy one scam right after another. The next thing we know, there really will be sharks with freakin' lasers attached to their heads.

But it's not like you're alone. I still can't fathom how the poor and disaffected are so in love with this asshole. Especially this asshole. You really think this is the guy who reigns in the banks. I don't think Hilldawg will either, mind you, but at least she has a constituency barking at her and Elizabeth Warren always ready to give her both barrels. The Donald has a gold bedroom with gold furniture in his gold penthouse in his gold building with his name in gold on it. So puhleeze connect those dots.

Donald Trump gets first classified intelligence briefing, says he won't use the information if elected anyway

Intelligence is so overrated.

Donald Trump, who got his first classified intelligence briefing Wednesday, said he probably wouldn’t rely on the critical information anyway if he ends up in the Oval Office.

“Very easy to use them, but I won’t use them, because they’ve made such bad decisions,” he told “Fox & Friends,” referring to the intel briefings about supposed weapons of mass destruction that led President George W. Bush to go to war in Iraq.

“If we would have never touched it, it would have been a lot better,” said Trump, who proudly declared earlier this year that “I love the poorly educated.”

Intel for prez candidates don't include the whole story

Asked whether he trusted the classified intelligence he was about to be given access to, Trump told the network, “Not so much from the people that have been doing it for our country, I mean look what’s happened over the last 10 years ... it’s been catastrophic.”

Trump, nevertheless, was spotted heading into the FBI’s field office in downtown Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon, with the mogul arriving for the supposedly covert meeting in a massive motorcade.

Two of the mogul’s top confidants, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, both reportedly accompanied Trump to the briefing.

Before heading downtown, Trump held what his campaign dubbed a “security round table,” providing various news networks with shaky, soundless cell phone video of Trump sitting around a boardroom table at Trump Tower alongside a cadre of other men.

Among those seated was Rep. Pete King (R-L.I.), who did not respond to questions from the Daily News about what was discussed at the meeting.

The intelligence briefing later Wednesday — led by staffers from the office of the director of national intelligence — likely included information on threats and emerging concerns from around the globe.

All major party nominees have traditionally been provided such briefings following their nominating conventions. Hillary Clinton will also get the briefings.

Trump has questioned why his Democratic rival is getting them, saying her email scandal proves she doesn’t know how to handle classified data.

The businessman’s access to highly classified intelligence has come under scrutiny in the aftermath of a slew of high-profile missteps by the erratic candidate.

Trump, in just the past few weeks, has suggested Russian hackers should try to find Clinton’s missing emails; was caught off guard when he said Russian President Vladimir Putin wouldn’t invade Ukraine, which he already did, and floated the idea he wouldn’t back America’s allies in NATO.

His knowledge of world matters had already been called into question following a bizarre interview last August during which he told NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he had his own unique way of getting military advice.

“Well, I watch the shows,” Trump said when asked by host Chuck Todd, “Who do you talk to for military advice right now?”

“I mean, I really see a lot of great — you know, when you watch your show, and all of the other shows,” Trump said. “And you have the generals, and you have certain people.”

Concerns over Trump’s foreign policy chops intensified in March when the candidate was asked on MSNBC whom he consulted with “consistently” on foreign affairs.

“I’m speaking with myself, No.1, because I have a very good brain,” he said on the network’s “Morning Joe” program.

Such bizarre proclamations led former CIA Director Michael Hayden to question in May whether Trump might blurt out classified information during one of his unscripted speeches.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) even suggested intelligence officials just “fake” giving the volatile Trump briefings
.

1) Intelligence didn't lead the US into Iraq, theBush administration did, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfovitz, Karl Rove and other politicians did.
At least once during his mandates Georges W. Bush choosed no to use the intelligence he had. As a result, 2 places crashed into the WTC ; 3.000 people ******.

Second: You ralize hating someone who is to be gone is quite redundant, innit?
Regarding Clinton's status - the Green Party candidate, Jill Stein, made a bold yet obvious statement, that I for one absolutely agree on.

...

Hillary Clinton is “too big to jail,” a presidential candidate not named Trump is alleging.

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, who appeared Wednesday night with running mate, Ajuma Baraka, at a CNN Green Party town hall, blasted Clinton’s handling of classified information.

“Part of the problem, you know, with Hillary’s ***** of the rules, she was sort of too big — you know, too big to jail on the rules,” Stein said.

“And she ******** those rules with a sense of impunity, and she ******** them for a purpose which she stated herself, that she wanted her private information private.”
