I'm not going to take the time to break them down one by one, in main because you wouldn't agree with my objections to them anyway, nor will anything I might point out alter your thinking.
I guess they're just peachy if you believe, among other things, in no abortions under any circumstances, and the "sanctity" of hetero marriage (despite it's enormous failure rate). But politically/strategically, embracing those social positions has been and continues to be an anchor around your party's neck.
a person's seniority in the Senate doesn't some how make them gospel speakers.
He's hardly the only republican to have expressed respect for Garland.
And Garland isn't reasonable at all
Well, again, according to Hatch he was a "fine man" - with more federal judicial experience than any supreme court nominee in our nation's history - a man who would be a "consensus nominee" - who would "no question" win bi-partisan confirmation if appointed. That is until Obama actually nominated him......then suddenly he wasn't even worthy of a hearing.
Break out the Pampers and pacifiers for the republican senate.
