It stems from Watergate, It's a stupid news media thing.

Would you prefer the term "Affair", because there is always "the Iran-Contra Affair", which I'm sure spawned some "gates".....

Andrew Breitbart said this morning on RedEye he has another photo he will not release because "the damage to the ****** has been done." He said, however, that if smear merchants like DailyKos try to continue to vilify him he will release said photo.
