Instead of realizing & admitting that ALL (ALL) public political talk should be elevated above this Palin type incitement they are already, like schoolchildren, trying to find Democratic equivalents; "Look at what Obama said!" "Look at what X Democrat said!"


Going back to the Presendential election it doesn't really measure up when it comes to vitriol coming from politicians/rallies. John McCain had to publicly defend Obama in an attempt to calm down the bitternes from his rowdy rallies.


John Lewis/Pelosi & many others have warned about politicians words(especially from the right) wayyyy before this shooting .

Sarah Palin and her political career will take a MAJOR hit over this....maybe even come to an end!

Her career has been over for awhile. She wants to be a media commentator and that's what she has been doing the last year and a half. Any speculation on whether she'll run is just to produce more buzz about her, which forwards her career.

If she were to seriously contemplate running, the GOP would put the brakes on it immediately. Democrats want her to run desperately because they know it will fire up the Democratic party base as well as disrupt the Republican primaries.

No one is feeding the idea that Palin will run for public office more than Democrats.

Libs have been saying that Republicans and Tea Partiers are poisoning public discourse with similar comments. They've also tried to say they are inciting ******** with similar comments. They've famously tried to blame the massacre in Tucson on Tea Party/GOP/Palin rhetoric.

It's failed MISERABLY. If the Left is serious, they'd lead by example. But of course they're not serious, it's all spin. Obviously the GOP is engaged in it as well.

That was made over a year ago and the earlier of the two DailyKos comments were made last week.

If we want to reach farther back like you're doing, we can go in 2004 and 2006 for other "crosshair" cliches by Democrats.

If it weren't for all the people ******, I'd be laughing about how badly every effort by the Democrats has failed on this. It's like they are Wylie Coyote with his acme products.

Sarah Palin should, at the very least, apologize for the idiotic cross-hairs congressional map her PAC put out and tone down her vitriolic rhetoric.
