Total Nonstop Action wrestling thread

Winner and new world champion...Mick Foley??? Neat. How long's that gonna last I wonder?

And Bobby lashley...guess the MMA thing hasn't worked out so well.

Average PPV. Some good spots, a lot of ****** action, and Tenay and West were their usual awful selves. Was I the only one hoping that the surprise former world champ would be Taz on the mic?

grrr what happen to my second post i aint rewriting that all out again sorry everyone

Bobby lashley now for me that was a let down i was hoping for Taz or Sid,Lashley is just so boring imo.
So Foley pretty much retires from active action in the WWE and leaves them
altogether, comes to TNA, becomes a shareholder AND TNA Champion? Did TNA also offer him Dixie Carter's (TNA President) job too? That old fart doesn't deserve to be TNA
champion, he's old and needs to leave the business completely.

I don't know about that extreme. Foley can still contribute...he's great on the mic, and good for the occasional in-ring moment too. This is just one more example of TNA's desperate attempts to make press with a pinch-hitter instead of the full time talent they already have. Mick Foley/Sting was one more kick at the can, and probably came from the same braintrust that the old WCW used to make David Arquette a world champion too. One more reason TNA creative needs a huge overhaul.

Oh, and it looks like Taz may yet be a possibilty, as TNA are teasing yet another "former world champion"...First order of business, lock the Tazmission on Tenay and West. :glugglug:

dont get your hopes up the 2nd world champion they said would be joining tna is stevie richards as noted on a wrestling site sescoops so far no word on taz

What about: "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Taz, Sabu, RVD, Tommy Dreamer, Jerry Lynn, New Jack...

Mike Knox he was recently released by the WWE.

I can think of a lot of wrestlers I'd like to see in TNA. ;)

The more i think about it the more it sucks i mean come on Bobby Lashley & Stevie richards why not get someone people want to see like taz or rvd better yet think about the ratings they could have got with a sid comeback or how about pushing the younger guys who have talent like **** money, chris daniels and aj styles, tna drops the ball again.

* Lashley's camp has stated that Lashley has not signed a contract with TNA Wrestling, and that his appearance last night was for he and the company to become acquainted with each other. The plan would be for Lashley to do wrestling for TNA on a limited basis, while still training for MMA.

the second "former World champion" rumored to appear at Lockdown last night was not Stevie Richards. TNA only promised fans that they would begin to "unlock the identity" of the second former champion at the pay-per-view, not that he would appear.

You need a good blend to be succesful. TNA are doing the right thing in trying to get somes big names in provided they let the young guys get the rub of the green against them and come off looking strong otherwise when the big names leave there will be no stars left.
Lashley is a good signing as he is still young enough where he can have quite a few years and is well known but not a huge superstar. So TNA could elavate him to the next level

tazz heading to tna as nation of ******** leader ?

That's apparently the buzz...Joe had a towel over his head at Lockdown before he came out...though who could tell with the crap lighting...then hit Tazz-plexes all over the ring...Tazz has also stated he'll never wrestle again though..he'll be a figurehead, then the broadcast booth awaits and buh-bye West!

Good for TNA if Taz joins. Taz needs to wrestle again.

Premium Link Upgrade Mike Knox should join before or after Snitsky joins.

Nobody within WWE was too surprised to hear that Bobby Lashley has signed with TNA, and it was always seen as a matter of "when" and not "if." WWE does not see Lashley signing with TNA as a major loss, as opposed to how they would view someone like Rob Van Dam signing with the competition.

Then why didn't WWE try to keep Rob Van Dam?
They are only saying that because he joined TNA.

Also, some of the other WWE wrestlers are looking to join.

Rob Van Dam needs to join TNA and Sabu.

I can't wait to see the end or change of ownership of the WWE.

Also, the expansion of TNA to two shows a week.

The new owners could change the name back to Premium Link Upgrade or WCW. ;)

WWE did try to keep Van Dam, but he wanted a break as he was burned out. Sabu is only good when the rules are non-existent.
