I have seen 2 or 3 posts on this already...all I can say is...so what???
I think that statement in and of itself is a bit moronic. She's, among other things, a sucessful State Governor. And not slow on the uptake, pretty cool under pressure...and we vote for the President, VPs come along with them, and can change during the term of the President; we don't vote for VPs, technically.

Well at least he does know the duties of vice president, unlike Palin according to her interview, where she described vice presidential duties that have nothing to do with what her actual duties are.

I respect Sarah, I think she is a future powerhouse in politics might not agree with her inclusion of religion so much into her politics and I don't want to fuck her because she is married, have a lot of **** and not my type unlike a lot of you sickos out here.
Maybe, just possibly.....if the neocons hadn't so severely damaged themselves the last eight years. As it is the divisiveness of her ultra conservative, born again christian, pro-life-even-in-cases-of-****-and-****** agenda will prevent her from becoming a political powerhouse.

Like I said future, soon after the Obama four year "worst than Bush regime" (yeah he will outdo W)...
It is impossible for anyone in less than 8 weeks (56 days) to learn everything in American politics, all the bills ****** by McCain in the last 24 years, and everything needs to learn to run higher office.
But Sarah Palin will learn and not to make herself as a fool.
She still need at least 1-2 years on-the-job training to be a savvy politican.
But I think she will return to Alaska to finish the term of Governor and run again for the Governor job or run as a US Senator from Alaska.
As far as higher office goes, I think she will lose some appeals unless she has to re-define herself in many controversial issues, like abortion, ANWAR drilling, environmental issues and many more.
She is a bright person, but abrasive and power-hungry.

it wouldn't surprise me - she's young (for a politician), pretty nice looking & glamorous
- but she needs to open her f*ckin eyes, learn at least something about foreign affairs, us constitutional law/case law & jurisprudence since 1945 etc etc,
and for me,
she seems just too ultra-conservative <in the american sense> that i couldn't ever see having her as my preferred candidate
