Like I said there is a trick to beat him on expert, he is cake if you do it right. I have 5 starred all but 4 songs so if anyone needs tips I am your man

any tricks to beating him on hard? I notice he gets first shot at the powerup which is bullshit and then he throws it right as my chance comes up, if it's whammy or broken string, I'm fucked! The second one he throws is right as the song gets to the first HO/PO section, again, fucked...
For me to beat him, I had to get really deep into the song with 3 attacks built up. There really isn't any point where you can take him down easily on hard so you pretty much just have to hang in there.
And a really cheap trick you can do if you are stumped is to use a mirror for the lefty flip sections. I never actually tried it, but a lot of people seem to have success with it.
Also, if you haven't tried it yet, hyperspeed 2 is a great help because it makes the notes easier to see.

I had to use hyperspeed on raining ***** I think it was, I never thought to try it with the lou battles!

If you don't know it's win 15 consecutive songs online! I figured out a little trick to get it easily regardless of what song my opponent picks...

I think I play better that way for some reason. Nice to see when they screw up, I throw the start power to gain an even bigger lead!
I never did try rock band online. I borrowed it from a friend for about a week just to practice the drums but I still don't like that game.
Only songs I didn't 5 star on expert is Raining ***** and Knights Of Cydonia. I am AWESOME at that game!!!

You're overdue. Pick up a real guitar and see how far you get.
Oh, and after you start playing the 'start' of a few ACTUAL songs.. go back to guitar hero and notice that you cant play as well as you used to. Strange, but if you can play real guitar, you suck at fake guitar. The fingers just dont go where you want them to on the fake one/guitar controller.
