I am about the same on or off the board. Here I am maybe a bit more quiet and careful not to say stupid things (just think how it would be if I was not careful!!!) or do jokes I would be the only one to understand.

Yes, definitely. I forgot about that aspect. The only person I talk to about porn in real life is Becks. And she has only a tolerating interest. It is nice to be able to freely talk about porn and other risque things on the board.

Beer is a lot more expensive here than in the NE. Used to be a 30 pack of Budweiser was $15. Now you pay almost that for 18.
Heineken is of course a better flavor.
I am the same boring person here and there, maybe even more boring in my real life, because after talking to the clients in my office for hours and hours I am too exhausted to talk to the people in my leisure time: that's why I tend to avoid both meeting people and discussing. Nobody of the people I know is interested in linguistics anyway...
You are not boring at all, you are one of the best board members and you should be proud of that. I too have to talk a lot with some people who are either boring or irresponsible and it is not a reason that I don't talk with friends in my leisure time.
Maybe you should keep up your skills at discussing things. You never know when Farrah will wall in one day as a client.
I´m trying to be me all the time, but I´m always switching off freeones when someone enters my room. So I think that says everything :angels:

You know, you have some view options located in your Profile that will allow you to turn off practically all of the images. (sigs, avatars and attachments)
That will buy you time, if someone walks in. I mean, few people care to read a screen, but most want to see an image when walking by or in. :2 cents:
Also, you can use imageblockers to remove certain images located on a screen such as titles or logos, further helping you present a more generic screen.
In real life Fox, the one who doesn't know how to protects his interests or who is never aiming at higher goals is a loser. You can't be forgiving to people who don't assume their tasks especially when it involves big money and huge responsabilities. Ruthless is something you need to be against your competitors especially when you have to sign a contracts or develop a partnerships with big firms because the rule on the market is the law of the fittest which you fail to see. You don't even work so don't talk about what you don't know. A certain agressiveness in this case meaning quick capacity of reaction is needed, but when you are a damn student you can barely understand that. The professional world doesn't like weak minded, slow, lazy, uncompetant or imature people.
