I'm just the same here and everywhere else.
Take me as I come.

After having thought of it for a little while, I think that it depends who I am conversing with off of the board that would determine how close my FreeOnes persona is to my off FreeOnes persona.
I realize that allot of what I type on here is the sweetest stuff in the world. Many of my beliefs and ideas end up offending many - and I would say those on here are for open to new ideas then most off.
So, I guess my off FreeOnes persona is very different from my on FreeOnes persona. Especially on more serious matters with people whom I do not know very well.
I agree with that 100%.Say what you mean and mean what you say. No back peddling is what I say!
I agree with that 100%.
But - for example - going around telling parent's that treat their kids badly that they are treating their kids badly is a good way to end up in a wee spot of trouble.
Not to mention all the other political/social opinions I have.
But, you are right. If I was braver or had more to fall back on then I should ALWAYS say what I think - no matter what.
You've lost me with the kids part McRocket??
I was just giving an example of what I might think to say in a given situation in 'real' life.
I'm "me" on the boards...to a certain extent. I have to hold back on my humor/sarcasm a bit, because if I didn't, nobody would really "get it" because they don't actually know me in real life.
Other than that, what you see is what you get.
Also I do funny dances and break into song (usually in falsetto) for Becks in real life, which doesn't really translate to the board. Another thing is that in real life I pretend to be gay more often than I do on the board.:dunno:
I totally agree with you Chef, especially the bold part. I have the same personality on board as I have off, but occasionally I have to restrain myself, as Becks could tell you. Off board, I make a good amount of jokes that have to deal with subject matter that is not allowed on the board. Also stuff that is too filthy and might gross people out. I make plenty of "funny" posts, but still I am more serious on the board than in real life. Hmm, interesting topic. I don't think much of my personality shows up on the board at all. I pretty much only come here while I'm at work. My Prime Directive, is to make myself laugh (yeah, it's pathetic, but makes the work day a hell of a lot better), and making a contribute to the boards comes lastly. There's tons of threads that have interest to me (not including babe threads), but I try to try to stay clear, as it would violate my Prime Directive. But trying to try to try isn't always as easy as it sounds.
In conclusion, in real life, I don't quote First Blood often enough, but I quote Jesus Christ Superstar a hell of lot more.
