After X-Men 3, they better make a great movie this time. I really doubt they will, but I hope. Sabretooth's feud with Wolverine better be the main storyline.
The problem is that if it is the main storyline, then it makes everything between those two in the first X-Men movie look even worse than portrayed, because it was pretty fucking bad to begin with.
And this, ladies and gents,is why they really need to stop fucking up these comic movies.I mean,c'mon, how fucking hard was it to really stick to the original X-Men storyline to begin with? They should've started the story around the original six and introduce Wolverine in a better way later in the movie.
The X-Men storyline as we know it now completely fucks up the whole thing. If the filmmaker had half a brain, they would have done some more research and found out that probably the most popular character after Wolverine is Gambit. He should have been in the X-Men movies with a grown up Rogue instead of Anna Paquin(I love her in True ***** so I'm not raggin' on her),and they could have played out their romance. Now I'm not as well versed in the X-men canon as most, but what the fuck do most of these character's have to do with Wolverines past?I can see where Deadpool and, obviously Sabertooth come in, but where does where does Emma Frost(why the fuck isn't anyone calling her the White Queen anymore?),The Blob,Baek(?),Storm(!?),and Cyclops(!!??:wtfhave to do with any of this?
The more I hear, the more I worry that it's gonna get fucked up just as bad as the X-Men movies.:2 cents:
But, that being all said, the first two X-Men movies, are to me, amung the best of the superhero films. And, I think if done right, this one could be great. It has a lot of potential.
I will respectfully disagree with you there.I did like the 2nd movie(not love),but the 1st movie was total garbage as was the 3rd.The only thing I liked about either of them was when Xavier just pretty much exploded in that house. That was pretty cool.
I think that the whole pseudo "Dark Phoenix Saga" was a fucking joke(the only thing that I didn't like about the 2nd movie).
I don't know, maybe I'm just being too pessimistic, but with all of the garbage that's come out,I think I have good reason to be.I will definitely go see it,I'm just hoping that I'm not going to be wasting my movie.
The 3rd film was a waste of potentially great material.
I liked Famke Jansen as Jean Grey. Then again I am fan of hers, but she was utterly ****** in the 3rd movie.
Angela Bassett would have been more convincing in that role, imo.

I don't mind that they have Storm cameoing, but she should be in Africa, not any where near Wolverine. I think they just added Cyclops because his origin with his *** being some space adventurer is kind of complicated; he's supposed to cameo as a *** with his eyes blindfolded or something. But the real reason? They just want to have as many cameos/X-characters as possible.
Wolverine should be able to carry a movie on his own though, he's already become so much more popular than the actual X-Men themselves, they could make a movie without the "X-Men Origins" title and just call it Wolverine and it'll make millions IMO
Good point I never thought of that but your right!!
Really I think Ryan Reynolds is great for Deadpool he is a perfect one liner smartass!
instead of wasting their budget on Halle Berry as Storm, who was terribly miscast. Angela Bassett would have been more convincing in that role, imo.
