WWE superstar Jamal, formerly of 3 Minute Warning, is scheduled to be at the "Raw" tapings Monday night in East Rutherford, NJ. It is not known if Jamal will be working a dark or Heat match, or if he'll be used on "Raw." After being released from WWE in 2003, Jamal had a successful run in All Japan Pro Wrestling, before resigning with WWE last month.

The only match for RAW thus far is John Cena vs. Kurt Angle in a First ***** match.

I miss watching Tazz wrestle. I miss when watching WWF/WWE/WCW was something to get excited about, i like Batista and Jericho and Cena, but it's just not fun for me anymore. Just my opinion.

I agree, Taz was awesome in ECW and even his first few months in WWE. I was thinking about this the other day, two of the biggest heels in ECW history, Taz and Shane Douglas, are now both announcers for the promotion they work for.

- In regards to WWE introducing the "storyline" firing of Eric Bischoff as the General Manager of RAW, Bischoff was told by WWE management that he was not in trouble and that he didn't do anything wrong. According to reports, Bischoff was not made aware of any big "master plan" of his status on WWE TV. All he was told was that both Vince and Stephanie McMahon were happy with his performances. Bischoff is still under contract (earning around $200,000 a year), but it is possible the company may not renew his deal.

- Mike Johnson reports today that WWE has signed Dalip "Giant" Singh. He is a 7"3' native of India who was trained by the All Pro Wrestling school in California. Singh appeared in an Adam Sandler remake of "The Longest Yard" playing a gigantic inmate named Turley who played for Sandler's football team.

^^^^^A big ****** F*cker, but can he wrestle? Should be interesting to see this guy in the ring.

Ricky Steamboat continues to publicly air his interest in working a match with Ric Flair at WrestleMania 22. Although the idea has not yet been formally discussed, Steamboat told Monday Night Mayhem that, assuming Flair was interested, he could probably talk Vince McMahon into the idea. Like Bret Hart, Steamboat labels Kurt Angle as the one wrestler he wishes he could have faced.

It is possible that Charlie Haas could make his return as early as tonight as a part of the Shelton Benjamin storyline. They will be bringing his 'Mamma' in at some point as well.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat...that would be interesting one of my ********* favs him and Macho Man had some great matches against one another...thanks for all the posting you do in this thread Harley...I love wrestling and enjoy all your posts in this thread

So Bishoff's status is still "up-in-the-air" as it were? Too bad. I was kind of hoping they would go with some sort of deal were Bishoff would be tired of taking Vince's garbage and start pushing back. In the end Vince would still come out on top, but it might have been interesting to see someone stand up to him and his ****** on the business side of things. I just grew tired of Bischoff just being hired for Vince to get his revenge on and make a fool of whenever he could. Oh well, Vince can do as he pleases since he has what Eric couldn't get...a receipt of purchase for WCW!

And what's Jericho's status these days???

He is no longer employed by the WWE, but he left on good terms. There have been rumors of him going to TNA, but nothing serious or anything near serious. For the time being, he is enjoying being a rock star and playing with his band, Fozzy. I really don't see him coming back before July, if he ever plans to return.

No problem:hatsoff: I try to keep post the more interesting stories, like the big MFer coming to the WWE. Cause there is a lot of stats and figures that WWE releases that are really boring. But after a while you start to understand their buy-rates and ratings and trades etc.

Flair vs Steamboat, one last time. They had an awesome series of matches in 1989. I have the one from Clash of the Champions, I believe, on tape. best 2 out of 3 falls that goes the time limit before Steamboat makes Flair tap to the double chickenwing thing he used back then. lol...thats just going off memory, i havent seen it in a long time. One thing I do remember is that the match NEVER gets boring and the series leads to Flair vs Funk as well. 1989 was a good year for Flair for sure.

To be honest I'd **** to see this as both are well past their prime.Yes they was great in their day but thats long gone.In fact I think flair should have retired when WCW came to a end.Because the longer he goes on now the more embarassing he is.I've not seen much of Steamboat these days but I'm sure he's also no where near what he was either.:2 cents:

Didnt Tatanka recently come back....he looked a bit outta shape...while i agree that older stars coming back is not good for development for the future of the WWE and wrestling its what most fans want...dream matches that did not happen and are now possible...I for one would like to see Hogan vs. Stone Cold...even though i know they are WAY past there prime it was be interesting to see...i know the match would probably suck and they are old and slow but its still fun to see....its always a what if thing and i would rather see a what if match happen than not have it happen...rememeber Hogan vs The Rock at wrestlemania the match was kinda lame but the fans loved it!!!...I just hope they dont bring back Terry Funk now thats too old...and Ric Flair can still sell tickets and the fans love him

Tatanka is back and working dark matches and house shows. Reports are he lost weight and is looking great. I really don't want to see Hogan in another match, not again. He had his, "One more match."

I would like to see a rematch from Wrestlemania, with The Rock and Stone Cold.

The Rock and Stone cold had the best wrestlemania matches...loved it when The Rock gave stone cold a stunner....lol...

The Rock vs Hogan worked because it was a young star carrying the older star.I do think they work but old vs old no.

If you haven't already, get Wrestlemania 20. And watch the stuff they have from WM19, and you'll see what that match really meant. They put in a lot of behind the scenes clips that circulated from Rock vs Austin

Maybe not of big interest to some, but I'm a fan of Ken Kennedy, Kennedy. And as great as it will be to have him back on camera, I can't wait for him to get back in the ring.

Ken Kennedy is expected to return to SmackDown! soon in a non-wrestling role. Rumors suggest that return could take place as early as tomorrow night.

-- In a bit of positive news for the WWE Champion, the crowd at that same house show was very behind John Cena; readers say he got the best pop of the night. There has been an ongoing concern about the mixed crowd reaction he has been getting since the start of his feud with Kurt Angle, but his solid merchandise track record and positive backstage reputation has prevented WWE management from pulling the plug on his title reign.

Anyone else feel like begging to get the belt off of Cena. It says a lot about WWE when there, supposed-to-be, top face and champion is booed.

I remember you writing that last week, so I made sure I paid attention this week when he came out, and he definitely got more boo's than cheers. Of the 6 going in to the chamber, the only one of them I really even enjoy watching anymore is Kane and maybe HBK every once and a while. Masters has potential, but IMO just doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Maybe its just me getting older or loosing interest but I don't have any feelings toward any of the wrestlers, none of them make me actually want to cheer or boo them. Personally I'd rather see a main event of Big Show vs. Triple H.

Monday Night Raw Results

Kurt Angle def. WWE Champion John Cena (First ***** Match, non-title)
Kane def. Shawn Michaels
Chris Masters def. Shelton Benjamin
Maria def. Victoria

Here's the thing I'm not getting:Big Show and Kane. WTF are they? Heels? Faces? We know that HHH is a heel, but this feud between him and Show have him looking like a face. And I thought when Kane and Show won the titles, they were faces, now Kane destroys HBK at Vinces command.
