2. Is it just me, or did raw this week in afghanistan seem better without coach commentating, god i **** coach, please keep him away from the announcers table, they are fine as a duo now!
I'd love to see Coach get the boot, but according to Vince, ain't happening. Out of the three, the next one to get the boot would be The King.

But Coach can play up that asshole character better than anyone else. That and everything he says on tv is what Vince is telling him through the earphones.

It looks like Mark Dursin from ESPN.com's page 2 is going to have to add another to the list of wrestling most appalling moments.(wish I had a sad head shaking smiley)

Re: Mark Henry romancing Mae Young. That was definitely in questionable taste - but I've already posted my dislike of this storyline (and the equally worrying Viscera/sexual chocolate angle) elsewhere.

Good show tonight, despite the cold and altitude they gave a great effort to entertain the troops. Can't believe they actually visited the FOB's, know that must have been a real suprise to see them. Even though they did that Tim White thing, its nice to know some people in the company actually care about making a good name for the WWE.

- Rumor has the returning Jamal aligning himself with John Cena is an attempt to give Cena's thug character street cred.

- In what might blow away any past awards for sheer absurdity within wrestling; the aftermath of the sketch on Sunday night's Armageddon PPV, in which a "despondent" Tim White was depicted at his Friendly Tap bar outside of Providence, RI, downing shots and beers (dealing with the pain of his legitimate injuries suffered at a previous Hell In The Cell match) then taking a rifle and off screen, firing the ***, with an implied suicide, resulted in the following...in real-life.

According to the webmaster of the FriendlyTap.com website for Tim White's bar, this skit blew up to the extent that:

1) Local Cumberland, CT police got an estimated 1,000 phone calls about the "suicide" depicted on the PPV.

2) The door of White's Friendly Tap bar was pried off the hinges by local police and fire, causing $3,000 in damages.

3) White himself has to give a deposition regarding the incident to local police, who were upset about not having been clued in ahead of time to the sketch.

4) The e-mail address of the bar recived 4,000 e-mails of condolence and comment.

This reaction may rank up there with the classic September 1, 1990 angle in which Jerry Lawler was run over by an automobile driven by Eddie Gilbert on the live WMC Memphis TV show; causing Memphis police to storm the studio looking for Gilbert.

Earlier today in Stamford, Conn., Ted DiBiase collapsed and lost consciousness. He has since regained consciousness and will be held overnight in a local hospital to undergo testing.

There is no SmackDown! taping tonight as this week will be a Best Of show. The next WWE live event will take place the day after Christmas which is RAW live.

Sky in the U.K. edited the Tim White segment off the PPV replay. White's webmaster of his official site has been replying to fans claming th angle was set to be done way before Guerrero's passing. He also claims it's a storyline, but man, what a stupid idea in the first place. Of course, that's just one mans opinion.

Wrestling? I haven't watched it since I was in junior high. And to be honest I poke fun at wrestling fans every chance I get. But I'll keep my mouth shut here.

But I will add one thing. I used to work at a bar and grill and every Pay Per View was broadcasted there for free, people would come watch it eat and *****. good times, except the "wrestling" crowd was a totally different crowd than the ones that showed up every other night. This may be a stereotype, but I swear they all lived in the trailor parks. Dudes bring just enough money for a burger and a soda, and sitting for 4 hours refillin their sodas and makin messes. Those who drank **** brought enough money for like 3 beers, and payed in quarters and **** like that with no tips. I remember havin to listen to the bartenders and servers bitch about this everytime. Oh and I don't even have to talk about the MRCI(special people) that would show up... lol good times man good times

Yeah, its best to keep quiet on the negative attacks. Those of us who post in this thread know the difference between whats real and fake, but we still enjoy wrestling. IMO its no more staged than anything else you see on TV.

Also when I started this thread I put in a little protection on the negatives

BTW Thanks to everyone that shares their opinions and posts in this thread:hatsoff:

The Reason Ms. Christy Hemme Was Fired

From ChristyHemme.com:

Hello everyone! Thank you so much to everyone who has and is still supporting me. Even though the partnership with WWE and I did not end very will (sic), I am truly thankful for the experience. All I can say at this time to clear up some of the rumors, there was no battle over money. Money was never my motivation for working. Truth is that I was completely dedicated to the company and believed in everything I was doing. I trusted it. I was willing to put my personal life aside to give everything I had to what I was doin and become better wrestler/performer. I was told that I was a budget cut and creatively they didn't have anything for me. I am very disappointed in the WWE, where I learned a very important lesson. I am a very determined person with a huge amount of engery for my life and my career. Everything happens for a reason and anything that has happened in my life that has knocked me down has only built me back up stronger. I feel stronger than ever and I am hungry for this huge future before me. Again, THANK YOU soooo much to everyone who has believed in me and is supporting me.

On a side note, Christy had recently relocated to Louisville, Kentucky and had done EVERYTHING that was asked of her.

One source within WWE says that Shelton Benjamin's string of losses over the past few months was punishment for behavior directed at a veteran road agent.

The Torch Newsletter described the behavior as a "blatant negative and disrespectful attitude shown toward at least one veteran road agent."

As indicated with Big Vito's recent "punishment" on television, if one's political and on-screen position is not secure, he opens himself to trouble when committing backstage misconduct

More controversy w/Christy Hemme
Although it has not been confirmed, there are rumors going around that Christy Hemme's WWE release was due to "acting inappropriately" with Triple H on a recent tour.

Word of Christy Hemme's actions, none of which directly implicate Hunter in anything physical with the diva, got back to Stephanie McMahon in the form of a number of stories.

Stephanie was also less than pleased with Hemme's "excitement" about traveling with HHH and Batista.

In a statement on her website, however, Hemme attributed the release to budget cuts.

-- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Matt Hardy has some heat on him in the SmackDown locker room. It’s mainly from Survivor Series when in the closing scene where Undertaker came in and cleaned house, which Hardy told a road agent he was unhappy with. The original plan was for Taker to give Hardy a ***** slam. Hardy’s words got back to Taker, and when Undertaker’s run in was shown he asked them to rewind the tape for him to see. He saw how Hardy just rolled out of the ring instead of sticking to the original plan.

The Undertaker confronted Hardy about it, and asked Hardy what kind of message he was trying to send to the locker room, and if he thinks he’s better than everyone else. It’s said that Hardy just kept his head down and took it.

I would not of wanted to be Hardy in that confrontation with Taker.

According to PWTorch.com, Eric Bischoff was told that his removal from the RAW General Manager position was not, by any means, a punishment.

However, he is not aware of any plans to return to television.

Vince and Stephanie McMahon both expressed their appreciation for the work he'd been doing but gave him no indication of when he would be back on the air.

For the time being, he remains under a $200,000/year television contract, although it is possible his deal will not be renewed when its expiration comes up. A number of former WCW wrestlers who were released by Bischoff would take great satisfaction in Bischoff's run with WWE coming to an end.

Congratulations to Dawn and her new ***:

Dawn Marie Gives Birth To A Little Baby Boy

Mike Johnson is reporting that former ECW and WWE diva Dawn Marie gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday. She has named the ***** Matthew. An early Christmas gift!

AH, you wouldn't know of any of the wrestling news sites that use RSS would you?

And if you have no clue what that is, let me know and I'll explain it the best I can.

RSS - Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication

It kinda works like the CNN newsticker but not as obnoxious, at least not SharpReader, the RSS reader I use. Basically if a news website posts an article, your RSS reader picks it up and you can view the article without having to visit the website.

So say I'm gone for 2-3 days, instead of visiting the website and going back 3-4 pages I can just check my RSS reader and all of the articles are there from all the websites you are subscribed to. Just wondering if any wrestling new websites RSS their stories so I don't have to keep visiting the websites.
